I was sooo excited to see two updates!! Now I need to remember all of the things I wanted to comment on. Time for a list:

1.I LOVE the boat rides from POR to Downtown Disney. They are so nice and relaxing.
2.You girls both picked out some great items from your meals at WPE to the Dr.Pepper soap (so cool!) to the cute Mickey shirt. I love your taste!
3.I am glad the blisters have not started.
4.I really need to ride TSM and eat a carrot cake cookie.
5.Great pics on the Streets of America. You can tell you were having a blast.

The show was just as wonderful as I remembered. Little Mermaid is still my favorite Disney Princess movie.

You'll have to see Little Mermaid with Brooklynn one of these days. She's quite the fan of Ariel Girl, as you know.

The lack of a crowd behind you in that picture is very nice. Glad you didn't get trampled on the way to TSMM.

After seeing the carrot cake cookie, I am feeling the need for a Friday night sweet treat. I'm heading to the kitchen to see what I can conjur up.

That carrot cake cookie does look just like a pumpkin whoopie pie! If you ever crave one while not at Disney you can always order whoopie pies from Wicked Whoopie online. The peanut butter one is to die for. Or if you are ever driving thru Kittery, Maine they have a store. Best whoopie pies evah!

For some reason I have overlooked the Writer's Stop. I will have to give it a look see when my husband and I are there in May.

I'm glad to hear you had a much more orderly entry into DHS this morning. I do have to say, because of the time I get to that park, I have never gotten to go through the regular queue, which means I've never gotten to see all those cool toy replicas, or Mr. Potato Head in action. I'm hoping to rectify that on this trip if Mom and I can get up early enough.

Seems like you were having a fun day, and you know, I love me some character meet and greets. That carrot cake cookie looks awesome, too. Isn't it so nice to have someone to share with? I don't think I could polish off one on my own!

I agree with everybody else. That cookie looks soooo good. My first thought was that it looked like a whoopie pie too. They don't have whoopie pies out here. Nobody knows what they are. I think I am going to make some on my days off. I need to move back east so I can have all the food I had while I was growing up.

We had great character mojo this trip. I think the January crowd level helped too because there never seemed to be a long line at all for any character.

Mr. Potato Head was very cool but not worth the huge long waits that TSM usually has....at least in my opinion.

It was HUGE. Jen and I probably only ate 2/3 of it together.

That is just one sad fact. I think you should move back out this way. At least I'm not as far away from Maine as you are. I used to have a whoopie pie that was made of white cake with chocolate chips and then the filling. It was SO GOOD.

It is sad. I just wrote on TK's thread about them not having Fluff out here either. They are missing so many things out here that they don't have in the east. I have lived out here for almost 11 years and I can't think of any food that I would miss that is available only here. That whoopie pie sounds really good.

Great update! Glad to hear that y'all's morning went so well. Good to know that DHS caught on to the stampeding heards of TSM hopefuls. We didn't even attempt standby. By the time we got there at 9:10am it was a 40 mins wait.
