Dreaming of the Disney DREAM, Feb 17, 2013

Up working on our March vacation to Aulani, reading trip reports on the dis of course.

DH sleep, DD sleep, perfect time for trip planning :)

Loving this weeks pics.

We'll be cruisin' soon!

Add me to the "We can't wait club":banana::banana:

Hm, another one who is up WAY too early on a Sunday morning! ;)
I have just started my PTR for that trip and planning (and dreaming about the trip) is SO exciting! :thumbsup2
:yay:
I can't sleep, so I'm working on the FE. I requested to be seated with Ana for dinner...fingers crossed...we're looking forward to seeing her again...

What's our friend in NJ doing up so early...LOL

I'm undecided about whether to stay at Residence Inn or Country Inn & Suites. Any opinions on either?? Transportation is not needed....
:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

We stayed in the Residence Inn last year...the staff was pretty great.
They're practically next to eachother and they both offer shuttle service to the port.

I am so excited! 5 weeks is such a short time! By this time five weeks from now we will all be at the Vista Club saying hello!

You are just in time...deadline is tomorrow. We are DH Dimitri :jester:, DS Alex (15):cool2:, and yours truly Katerina (Dania):hippie:. We are in stateroom 9566.

PM all your info to dizneeat (Karin) including room number...if you're not able to PM you can certainly post it on this board.

We are also planning a DisMeet on embarkation day at 3PM Vista Cafe. Try to join us! :grouphug:

My docs arrived today:). Quick question: There's no formal night, but it also says no shorts at dinner. Is that true? We have to pack skirts for dinner? We've never cruised....help!

I believe that there are no shorts at dinner. On our first cruise I wore capri pants and it was fine at dinner! I think that I also wore dressy jeans one night and that was fine too. Atleast, I thought it was:).

Has anyone on this thread ever walked to Junkanoo Beach? We are planning on taking a walk there on our Nassau Day and wanted to check on other people's experiences with it. Thanks!

No shorts during dinner...casually dress attire...exceptions for small children. The Royal Palace is slightly more dressed up...

However, we did see some people not exactly dressed for dinner.

For Animators Palate & Enchanted Garden I wore a summer dress, DH & DS wore jeans, button shirts and shoes...and Royal Palace is the "dressier" night...I did wear a dress and DH slacks and shirt...

they do ask that you do not wear shorts in the dinning rooms, but you would not believe how many people break this rule. These dinning rooms are very nice and I would never wear shorts, but to each his own. I usually wear skirts and dresses. Jeans on Pirate night are ok too.
