Dreaming of the Disney DREAM, Feb 17, 2013

Hi All!
We have just booked this cruise-- and it wasn't easy! We sailed on the Dream in April and this cruise was already sold out (except for a couple of concierge rooms!). After a few weeks of checking a room came available! Yay!
We did a 3 night on the Dream and loved it, my daughter (18 months at the time) had so much fun dancing to all the music and waving to all the characters!
We are looking forward to that extra day though!
We loved the FE exchange last time and would love to join again....
We are in Room 7078. There will be me (Kim), my DH (Sean), my DD (Audrey- 2 years) and my Mom (Barb).
Can't wait to be back!

It's great to hear that you enjoyed your cruise so much, but 3 days is just not long enough!
..... so happy that you are joining the FE exchange as well. We love to do it and I have already added you to the list of cruisers and the FE list - I will update the list with details tomorrow morning with your info too!

We are doing another back to back on the DREAM this summer, a double dip followed by a 4 night cruise! Cannot wait to be back either!

Turns out we will not be sailing with you all after all. We have cancelled this cruise and booked a cruise to Alaska in Aug 2013. Will miss not being on this cruise but really looking forward to Alaska.

Hello Karin, Tom and fellow DisCruisers!!!

Please accept my apologies for our absence from the DisBoards. But, it's been quite busy by me. I just cant wait for summer vacation...take a break from DS school activities, track, & boy scouts. DH had a minor heart procedure...but everything turned out well, thank God!

Karin...it appears my sis-in-law may be joining us on the cruise. You & Tom will love her...her DH's name is also Tom. And their DD is Alexis (13yrs by the time we cruise). Once they confirm, I'll let you know.

I have to catch-up to all the updates on the board since I logged in last...but are there any families traveling with 13yr old girls???

Alexis is pretty shy at first...but very funny and out-going once she feels comfortable...she plans to spend her entire time with her cousin (my DS). But he will be 15yrs old at the time of the cruise...He LOVES Vibe and hopes to spend most of his time there. But he also loves his little cousin and will not want her to be alone.

It's wonderful to hear from you again!
Don't worry about not being able to get on here much, life sometimes is just so busy that ít's hard to stay on top of it.

If your SIL decides to join, just let me know, there is still plenty of time until this sailing will take off (not so much longer for our summer cruises - we are going to leave Austria in just 61 days! )
Sorry, no idea if or how many 13 year old girls are in our group, but I am sure as time goes by - there will be some around.

Can't wait to see you again!

Karin, It looks like SIL & Fam will be joining us...We're so excited...I cant wait for them to meet you...

We dont plan to make any reservations for excursions or any other activities other than maybe the spa. We really just want to relax this time around...enjoy the company of our new friends and family.

You are going to love cruising with Disney. We went on our "once in a lifetime" cruise in 2009 and this will be our tenth DCL cruise!

I put you on the list in my first post. For the list with details I would need everyone's first names, your DD is 6 (at the time of the cruise?) and once you know it, your stateroom number.
Should you upgrade/change your stateroom number at port than the best thing is to either let us all know at the welcome meet which we will set up, or you can just put notes into everyone's FEs I guess.
I haven't thought about it in detail yet, but I will come up with a solution to suit us all.

(We'll arrive late in the evening, so only need a place to crash and sleep). After the cruise we will stay at BLT for two nights before we have to return home again.
We LOVE OKW! Our absolutely favourite resort. We bought DVC last summer at SSR and will spend our points at OKW this summer.

We LOVE OKW! Our absolutely favourite resort. We bought DVC last summer at SSR and will spend our points at OKW this summer.

OKW is our home resort but I have never even set foot on that property. We usually stay at Beach or Boardwalk if Beach is booked. We leave early in the am and will be arriving about 1pm. My annual pass expired this month and we are not renewing as points are going to the cruise this yr. we may pool hop if anyone has any favs, let me know! I want to get a park view studio at BLT and pool hop on the monorail!
