Dreaming of the Disney DREAM, Feb 17, 2013

OKW is our home resort but I have never even set foot on that property. We usually stay at Beach or Boardwalk if Beach is booked. We leave early in the am and will be arriving about 1pm. My annual pass expired this month and we are not renewing as points are going to the cruise this yr. we may pool hop if anyone has any favs, let me know! I want to get a park view studio at BLT and pool hop on the monorail!

We just LOVE OKW. It is so relaxed and doesn't have that "hotel" feel at all. It really feels like you are living in a small community.
We have stayed at the Yacht Club (regular guest) but not the Boardwalk. But it is on our list.
Like you we will be arriving the night before the cruise - our flight is over 10 hours and we will just need somewhere to crash for the night, so I am thinking of either Pop or AoA for one night.
We are going to stay at BLT after the cruise, like we did last year. We had a lakeview studio and could see ALL of WDW - a part of Main Street, AK, Epcot and DHS! It was AWESOME!!! I cannot wait to stay there again.

What a wonderful 16th Birthday gift...Dutch is going to love it.
My DS will be 15 during the cruise. He loooved the Teen Club...though he was among the youngest in the club. It starts at 14...
...But Karin (Dizneeat) will tell you, he couldnt eat fast enough in order to go back to the club. We had dinner with Karin, Tom, and another wonderful family. DS (Alex) would ask to be excused, shake everyone's hands and quickly leave. After the cruise he told me the moment he left each restaurant he RAN to the club...lol
They made such good friends on the cruise they started a page on FB to keep in touch. Some plan to see each other again during future cruises, others while at WDW, and some even during summer vacations when they visit other states.

What is Drew into? What are his interests?

Nice to know there will be someone around Dutch's age on the cruise - I'm sure he'll be running off to the Teen Club once we're there!

Dutch is kinda quiet when you first meet him - but after a few minutes he's rather chatty ! He's really into dancing (don't look at me - his dad's got two left feet ) and running. I asked him what he's into and he said other than disney - dancing, the Steelers (he didn't get that from me either ), running, and hanging out with his friends. He says he likes pretty much anything

We both can't wait for the cruise - and to meet all of you!! Only 227 days!!

Our house is divided when it comes to football...I'm Jets, the guys are Giants...though we are all NY Yankees (I see you're from "The Big Apple" lol)

We won't see Ana this summer as she is going to be a bridesmaid at her best friend's wedding in August, but she promised she would be back in February. I will have to get back to her and ask if she really will be back, and I would definitely request her again. She is a sweetheart.

We still have a little over 4 weeks until we leave for the US again and a little over 6 weeks until we are back on the DREAM, but I am already getting so excited. You can be sure I will let you in on any news or changes!

Thank you! We still have a little over four weeks until we leave for the US, but we are both so excited to go back again so soon. We will be on the DREAM for 9 nights and I cannot wait!
