Dreaming of AKL ...

Literally, Dreaming of staying at AKL. All night - from booking it online to getting there, it was like a continuous loop in my head.

DD and I are planning a trip down June 8-12 and are staying at ASMo. For a couple of days now I've been thinking of going down on the 7th and having a whole day to relax and hang out at the resort. If we were to add a day to our ASMo stay it would be about $150. To stay at AKL for one night (which I really want to do) would be $389 (savannah view) if booked through Disney site. Or, I could try to rent points from a DVC member for that one night, and I'd need 26 points and I've never done that before but am guessing I could save about $100.

So what would you do? I really can't afford the whole stay at AKL but could afford one night. Do you think it's worth it? And, if I do it, how do I go about moving our stuff to ASMo the next day?

Yes, I think you would save about $100 by renting points. For just one night, I don't think I would do it. You could visit the resort and enjoy the grounds during the day. Eat at one of the restaurants and head back to ASMo for sleeping. It's a wonderful resort!!!! However, as I said, for just one night.......
