Dream Thanksgiving cruise Nov 23, 2015

That is a really nice one that you can use on future cruises! Star Wars! I love it! Makes me want to make a nicer new one for us!
Thank you! We are love Star Wars. Wish we could book a Star Wars cruise! But unfortunately that is not in our cards.

Last November we decorated our magic bands with temporary tattoos. You just apply them and then coat them with clear nail polish. We received quite a few compliments on them!

We will be at Disney the Sunday before the cruise and the Friday we get back. Eating at Biergarten, 50's, and 1900 park fare breakfast the day we leave.

Nice, I have added some fireworks stickers to a blue magicband that we had. It looks cute but you can see the outlines of the stickers. I wonder if clear nail polish will make those go away?

I really like staying on property right before we go on a cruise. Even if it is for one night and we don't even go to the parks. It makes me feel that the vacation has started.

You will have to let me know how 50's Diner is. We are going to Sci-fi but my husband wanted 50's. I think he likes the bar there. One trip he made friendly with the bartender.

What day are you getting there? We are coming in on Sat from LA and are taking it easy that day. I think church and dinner is all we have planned. I wanted dinner at Raglan Road but they were booked up. Right now we just have reservations at Boatwrights and the kids want to see Yee Haw Bob play. What days are you going to the parks? Before cruise or after? We might have to plan a meet up for those cruisers who are coming in early!

We are getting in on Fri afternoon and will go to MVMCP that night. Sat is DHS and Osborne Spectacle of Lights. Sun is change hotel rooms to the GV, go to DTD and Resorts to look at Christmas decorations. After the cruise we are going right home. The crowd levels and prices are way up after the cruise. Since our Sunday is so flexible we would be able to meet up with you and any other cruisers interested then.

We ate at Boatwrights last Oct for the first time and found it to be surprisingly good! It was one of our best meals that trip. We also wanted to see Yee Haw Bob but he wasn't going to be there until much later. I really like that resort. I have not stayed there before but would love to. I have to mention that it's a little ironic for your family to Leave NOLA to go to Disney and then visit Port Orleans on your vacation! :bitelip:

Haha! I know, right? It was too much of a hassle to book DVC points for our split stay and POR is our favorite Moderate resort. I think it's so pretty there! Technically we live about 20 minutes outside of the city here so I can justify it!!

Do you have a guess as to how many cabins we will have?
Thanks.

If everyone participates I counted 16 but I could be wrong!

I counted 12 families (some have two cabins)so far with three families undecided. Some families are not participating.

The cutoff to join the FE is 6 weeks before we cruise. It falls on Columbus Day (Oct 12), we won't take any more additions after that day.

If flying SW check the prices. I just saved another $46! Total savings so far for two tickets is $182. I just keep checking and changing to the cheaper price.

Thanks for the heads up I will check the flights

EDIT: No change for us. All of the returning flights are sold out except for five that are either way early or way late. Where are you flying out from? Maybe there is less demand where you are vs. flying from Denver.

Flying our of St. Louis. Guess I just got lucky. But as I always say better to be lucky then good any day. I was surprised our flights are cheaper then a friend going in September. We are paying $364 round trip.

That is a great price! I was showing that amount for one way coming back on friday! We booked with miles for DH and DD(16) so we paid very little this trip. Now if only Frontier would release their dates for Nov! It's driving me crazy not having my tickets booked yet!

Frontier finally released their dates for November. Of course they did it while I was away for a few days! >:( Instead of my miles being enough to get two round trip tickets they were only enough to get one round trip ticket so I had to purchase the other. It actually worked out because my DH had $200 in vouchers that needed to be used. So for four round trip tickets we paid around $300 total. :thumbsup2

Awesome price!!! One less thing to worry about.

I need to go shopping and figure out what to give for FE gifts. I have made one thing to give to everyone and have a small gift for girls. I also have an idea to give to everyone from IL.
