Just returned yesterday from our trip. We were in the parks June 8-13. I did not see the dream team once. I saw a few people walking around with dream fast passes and dream ears so I know they were there, just did not cross my path.:confused3

That is what I am afraid of for our next trip - so we are going with no expectations. Hope you had a great trip!

We had a great trip! I wish the same for you. Maybe you can win for the both of us. :goodvibes

Hi Sherry...Just curious when were you in the parks? The Dream Team spends the majority of their time handing out prizes in the morning. Not much is handed out past Noon or 1:00PM. Absolutely all prizes are distributed for the day before 5:00PM.

We were there for 6 days in April and also never saw a Dream Team

I think most don't know what their looking for. I been on 7 different week or longer trips since the YOAMD and never have I not seen the Dream Squad on any giiven day in the park. In the morning they are almost always at the rope drops then walking around in two's or three's till noon or so, and many times there's one walking by themselves on their "Super Greeting" shift right up until closing. Of course I'm obsessed with them so I always notice them. We even have a code word for them in my family - "Blueberries" (for their light blue shirts), and "Blueberries with icing!" (for when they have their white vests on signifying they are giving out dreams). Since Epcot and MK are so large is is difficult to see them sometimes after noon or so.

We've taken 6 trips since YOMD. We just got back 6/1-6/14 and the last three days we slept in and did not even go to the parks until the after lunch. And would you believe that's when we won a dream! 6/12 at 1:30pm at DHS we won dream lanyards. :thumbsup2 :cool1:

ADP= We were at the parks at or a little after opening each day. Guess we just kept missing the dream team.

Dmcuth= I have seen what the dream team looks like from previous pictures posted on this board.

It should also be mentioned although you will sometimes see Dream Team members floating around the parks socializing with guests during times when they are not handing out prizes, when they are handing out prizes they are very covert. Meaning they use a lot of back entrances so you can't see where they are going. They don't want followers when they are distributing prizes. Most prizes are distributed at the end or beginning of ride attractions. Again, just what I've noticed.

I'm loving this!!! Blueberries!!! :rotfl:

We were there for 10 days June 9-18 I noticed a marked decrease in Dream Team sightings than in previous trips. We were always in the parks in the morning until noon or later. I saw some people with Dream Fast Passes but not as many as in previous trips.

We were in the parks June 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, & 12th. We saw dream team members several times, mostly just walking around talking to folks, the kids actually did some pin trading with two of them - this was during "no white vest" time but they were still carrying their black dream team bags. We were in the parks from opening to close (one park per day) each date, just seems like the prizes aren't as plentiful.

We didn't see a whole lot of dream lanyards, ears, or fast passes, nothing compared to March of 2007 when we were there.

We did have this experience at DHS on Saturday June 7th during SWW. We were at the park well before opening (8:00 AM to be exact) - they allowed us in so far at 8:30 and we had to wait for another rope drop. We headed straight away to sign DS up for the Padawan Mind Challenge and then on to Star Tours as the wait was posted at 5 minutes. DD won't ride so we do child swap, DH & DS ride first then hand DD through the simulator to DH and I sit down with DS. As DS and myself exited the ride (we were in the pod fartherest to the left if you are facing them) I notice 4 dream team members standing outside the pod next to us, I'm telling DS "it's the dream team, it's the dream team". We slowed our pace a bit, thinking they might be getting ready to pass out lanyards or FPs. They just stepped back and allowed everyone from our pod to exit. DH & DS were shopping in the SW store, I kept watching the exit from the ride and shortly they exited with a family of 3 or 4 so it must have been a biggie (probably the night in the castle).

Both the kids got a YOMD Tink pin from one of the photo line CMs while waiting to see Snow White or Mulan (I forget) at Epcot.

I've noticed that the only park where I consistently notice the Dream Team is the Studios. I've spotted them occasionally at DAK, once at MK, and I've never seen them at Epcot.

That's funny, I've only seen them at Epcot (we were lucky enough to get lanyards :) )

I've never seen the Dream Team in the parks:

OTOH, I see the Dream Squad almost every day:

We noticed a few of the dream teams around trading pins, talking to guests but I didn't notice any many hats, lanyands, fast passes around as we did in November and January

We took 3 trips to WDW in 2007, for a total of about 23 days. We never saw the Dream Team/Squad even once. We go back next month for 11 days & we're hoping we'll have better luck!!

We went the last two Januarys (07 and 08). We saw them both times. We practically hunted them in 2007 and won nothing. Although we spent some time on the look out in 08, it wasn't until we relaxed and just had fun that we WON! It was while waiting in line for the Buzz shooting ride. Everyone on the inside part of the line got a lanyard (with 2 pins) as they passed onto the ride.

If you weren't in the ride you wouldn't have seen it! Also, I've seen where a whole theater full of people won the ears (Again, unless you were in the ride you wouldn't have seen the dream team).

I went last year, had no idea what to look for.

I went Feb-March this year, still had no idea what they looked like. My friend came up and visited me (she lives an hour away) and she spotted one within an hour of rope drop. She pretty much stalked him down LOL! We talked to him for a good hour, used our FP we had gotten before, and met up with him again during the thing with Woody. He told us about a dream that had been granted the night before - a meet and greet with EVERY. SINGLE. DISNEY. CHARACTER. (I was only told this 'cause I wanted to meet Prince Phillip and he was in attendance the night before! LOL!)

But because it was our birthdays, he gave us the Tinkerbell Pin and had us sign his autograph book. He had assorted colors of Sharpies, and so I definitely used every color he had :rotfl2: He was such a nice gentleman and really made my last day at MK a wonderful one.
