Dream Team giveaway strategies please

Any strategies for entering (or should i say potentially winning) prizes in the year of a million Dreams contest? Who will be mailing in entries? who will be visiting more? Will anyone be able to recognize the Dream Team members who will be handing out prizes??

From the release from Disney, I have this picture in my mind similar to the Ed McMann ads on television... winners randomly selected and completely surprised. That said, I am praying... does that count? When I read that there will be 3 DVC prizes, my blood pressure rose... I think I would faint! I would be thrilled with any "prize" granted. I am assuming that there are no real tricks other than more frequent visits and mailing entries. My first mail in entry goes out in the A.M.! I hope a Disser wins something and comes to the boards with a greater sense of hope for all of us. Good luck!!!

Yeah that 3 DVC thing made my liver quiver... wow that would be the price of a lifetime (literally and then some). It makes me float just thinking about it....

2 ways to enter: mail in on 3" x 5" card OR be in the parks. One hint that has been given is to be in the parks early to potentially win the overnight stay or the other prizes that you have to redeem that evening ( extra hours party in the parks / dinners/ etc). If you mail in an entry they hold the entry by the date received. If a winner by mail, for example, is to be chose from the Dec 12 mailbag, they will pull from that pile only.

I have tried to go to the Disney site to get the rules and facts, but that site is soooooo slow (is it the site or just my computer?) I don't have the patience. What info do they need on the 3X5 card? Aside from name, address, age, phone #, do they need to know when you are going to be at WDW? Do they only give away prizes at WDW, or do they use the mailed in cards to award prizes, too. I am confused, but so excited about possibly winning ANYTHING!!!! If anyone out there would share info, please I want to know!! Or at least another site that isn't so doggone slow?? Thanks!

The Disney site is a bit vagued as to how these prizes are given away. Is the address on the previous post the address to mail postcards? Would it be beneficial to send a postcard everyday, would that increase your chances of winning? Help, I am so confused!

It is for a post card. I am thinking you can mail in daily until Dec 31. There was instructions for how prizes will be rewarded. I will have to go and have a look as to where you can find that info as it is quite lenthy.

Thanks for the link and address, bab31. I ran to the post office and bought 50 prestamped postcards and started addressing them. It says you can enter by mail once per day...don't now how they can keep up with that, but that's about what my budget will allow, anyway. I hope enough people from these boards win so that we can start a thread about it!

How much are the pre-stamped post cards? That sounds like a great idea. Do you have to buy a lot of 50?
