Looking to book Spring 2017 out of Port Canaveral. First EVER cruise...maybe our only! Want to do Disney with our 5yo daughter ...

Please forgive me as I know nothing, although I have been stalking these boards for a while now ...

It looks like I could book either on the Dream or the Wonder. Big difference? Do you all like one over the other??? We will be booking a Verandah room I am sure.

Thanks!

We have cruised on both and honestly don't have a favorite. The Wonder is smaller, but we didn't feel overwhelmed with size of the Dream. The biggest difference to us was that the Dream has the AquaDuck and the Wonder does not. Also, the inside rooms on the Dream have the Magic porthole where the Wonder does not. Of course, this only matters if you are looking at an inside room.

To some, the departure port and the ports of call are the deciding factors. To others, the size of the boat makes a big difference. And for others, the price is what ultimately matters. Either way you can't go wrong. We had a wonderful time on both ships!

If you like lots of [4000] people, than book the DREAM.
Where as the Wonder , you are talking only 2700 people.
We found it took more time getting from point " A to B" on the Dream. and also the "$$$ " factor is more to book the Dream than the Wonder.
Don't get me wrong....both are great ships. You are lucky you get to pick one of them, as for us, booking out of Port Canaveral in Nov.2016 , we only have the Dream to pick from.
When your cruise day comes , you will be so-so happy. :sail: HAPPY CRUISIN' :sail:

I just booked the Wonder for 2/17 because the price was better than the Dream.
We are cruising the Dream for the first time this November but we have been on both classic ships before so we know we already like them.
I don't think you will go wrong either way!!!

We have only been on the Dream but had a fabulous time. Really only felt crowded right as shows let out.

I think you might notice a difference in passenger load on CC day.

Also consider any extra stuff you might like (AquaDuck, BBB, Star Wars club areas.) If those are important, then you'll need to do Dream.

For a first cruise, I would pick whichever had the better price. So probably the Wonder.
