Dream: May 22, 2011

My DH is not as big a Disney fan as I am, so we use our points to cruise as well. He's not into going to WDW every year, so I try to change it up with Disney cruises, Disneyland Paris, Disneyland CA, WDW and Hilton Head (which is now less than 2 weeks away ).

Some people don't think it's a good use of points, but I agree with you on paying $95 for a cruise.

Now, I just need convince him that cruising on the Fantasy is 2012 is something "different". Spending $95 on a cruise certainly is a good selling point

First of all, to all you moms of the May 22, 2011 Cruise, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY. Now second, Welcome Steph to our cruise.You want to hear something funny..........well I will tell you anyway. On Oct,7th 2009 when they first opened up the Dream cruise ressies, guess what stateroom I reserved, using cash not DVC pts. Room 7000. I hope you guys will enjoy your cruise, this will be our 8th since May 2004. Dw wanted a "V" stateroom so we switch down to deck 5 with a "v".

Thanks for the Welcome. I'll trade you for the V room. Just kidding.

We did the FE on our last cruise (it was our first time doing it) and me and my girls really enjoyed it. I'm just not creative and end up stressing on what to make/buy for our gift lol.
We always drive, my dh refuses to fly. I would like to fly once, but unless I can convince him otherwise, it won't happen!

Sounds like we have the same problem. My DH does not want to fly either. Three of us may be flying and he will just have to meet us in Port Canaveral. Well, we have a whole year to try and convince them. I'm starting now.

I don't care though, I know deep down he's a little excited too.

I'm just so thrilled that it's arriving fairly quickly.

We all know though that April 2011 will be the LONGEST month ever.

I am no leader, and looking at things at different angles and such [my age , 63=36], I think since you and yours took over our state room on deck 7 and are now going to be giding the boat with your eyes from rm. 7000 port hole window, I think it is you that I vote for to be the leader on THE MAY DREAMER CRUISE 2211. I have never cruised before or I would take the position. I graciously decline since I am a newbie. I am sure that after this cruise we will be hooked, so maybe I will lead the next cruise.

I did notice that we are at the front of the ship. Is that room different from the mid-ship? Is the porthole facing to the side or to the front? Sorry if this is a stupid question. Again, I am a newbie.

First of all, there is never a "stupid" question on these boards.........only some dumb answers Steph, in that cat. I think the rooms are all the same. Your Porthole window is dead center on the front of the ship on deck 7.Your view should be close to 180 degrease................nice huh........that's why I picked that state room but DW wanted a state room with A "V", so we went port side deck 5.That's why I said before " that U & yours would be guiding the ship with your eyes". I hope we all will have a FUN-FUN time.

We've got adjoining cabins with the "iron man" our son, who incidentally turned 21 while sailing on the Wonder last month so feel free to hit him with any questions Hippie 524.

I know we signed up for the FE - any idea how many are in so far?

I want to welcome the "BETTER HALF" of J Q to our cruise. How old will James be? As for the FE, I think Loveysbydesign was starting A list.I hope also she takes over the leadership of our cruise[we need some]. JQ said some nice things inre; to DW & I been together 42yrs. P. Yo Dady! While you and your much better half are airbound, Johnny and Poison will be soakin up the sun in the Golden State. Who knows might end up at the Left coast version of the Food and Wine fest which is happening as we speak. Or maybe brunch at the Del Coronado, haven't decided yet. Your right - LIFE IS GOOD. Hope you have a great time at Old Key. Let me know how you make out.
