Dream: May 22, 2011

When we would go there, we would always stay at the Jack Huff Motor Lodge, the only hotel left w/a diving board at the pool,they said when it broke, no more because of higher insurance.Some how it was" grand-fathered in",so they could keep it. ........ and you guessed it you had to turn left at stop light # 3.

I guess if you don't know you're numbers, you're just screwed in Gatlinburg then, lol!!! We stay at the Greystone Lodge at the Aquarium. It is right on the parkway and close to lots of things so we can just walk instead of having to get out in the traffic and/or pay to park. We are planning on going back in June for a night or two, without the kiddos, to celebrate our anniversary. I would much rather do a Disney cruise without the kids to celebrate, but that is just not in the budget right now!! Maybe next time.

I def. want to participate in the fe exchange. We did this for the first time on our Dec.09 cruise and enjoyed it!

Hey LISA, on the parkway, do they still grill that sauage and onions at that little eatery there ,[It smelled so-so good] and is that real nice pan-cake house still there? We have not been back there since I want to say 1993 I think.I think that year we took a 19 day vacation, did "D-WORLD" drove up I 95 to Myrtle beach for a week, then spent about 5 days in G'burg and the Smokeys.C'grats on your UP-Coming anniversary[ that's just-super-duckey!!! ]. May 4th, dw & I will have #42..............YES! FORTY TWO YEARS...........WOW!.........

Sorry it took me so long to reply..today is the first day i've felt like getting out of bed.I've got a virus or the flu or something.
Thanks for your anniversary wishes!! Wow,42 year! Thats wonderful. On June 27 Dh and I will celebrate our 17th anniversary (and yes i'm only 34) . We were there in 1993 on our anniversary !!!

Yep the sausage and onione eatery (Fannie Farkles) is still there...I resisted it twice. Love the stuff but i forget my stomach meds and that stuff reeks havoc on my poor stomach lol. There are a million pancake houses up there... the atrium...Pancake pantry..log cabin pancake house....just to name a few!!!!

My family just booked the May 22/11 Dream cruise!!!! I am only learning about the FE but might want to participate if I figure it out!!! Can't wait...I think we have 402 days to go if I did my math right!!!

I've got a ticker on my home page. I did this last year before our Dec. cruise, we planning it is aug. 08 and I swore I would not torture myself again with another ticker when the time frame was that long, but i'm doing it again lol. This will be our 3rd Disney cruise and I can't wait!!!!!!!! I'm particularly anxious to see the Dream!

Tax season is over you say, I need me a C P A, I had to pay 13 hundred more than last year. Boy that hurts . As for the new restaurant, Remy's I think we will go.

My wife and I just booked on this cruise. We're in 8648. Our son just got off the wonder 4/08 3-night celebrating his 21st b-day. Now it's our turn. This will be our first cruise of any kind and i'm ready to leave today. Count us in for the FE exchange. Our son exchanged on his cruise and enjoyed it very much. We are looking foward to meeting everyone on the boards and can't wait to go. I assume that May brings good weather in the Bahamas, which will make it that much better. JQ
