Dream March 18th FE

This is going to be so much fun!! I have a couple of questions. Do you moms have pierced ears? And Elizabeth, could I have your last name?
So are we going to trade each day of the cruise? (Just trying to get all my ducks in a row) :)

I do have pierced ears. As of now I can only trade one day. But if you want to trade more than one day, that's fine! I think I'm more excited about this than I am about anything g else!

One day is really fine with me as well. With my Etsy shops I'm going to be super busy up until we leave and not sure I'll have time to get much more than that done.

I've already done some shopping (not excited at all :dogdance:)...I have my own Etsy business as well so I'll probably make a few things too if that's cool :)

What kind of things do you make/sell in your etsy store? I'm facinated with the idea of doing that!

This is fantastic! Yay!!!!! Can't wait to trade with you!

Yes to pierced ears, and I am not sure I'll be making anything between now and then, but I figured I would probably buy items that I would normally put in a little package together to put in your FE's......I figured I would split up my little items. However - if it's better to have a decent packaged surprise over spread out surprise I can certainly do that.

Are we supposed to put the surprises in the FE's on a particular day to spread out the fun or just everything on day one?

I'm bringing all my stuff at once, but you can do whatever! We are all gonna have so much fun! I think the idea of having one of us go each day is a great idea, especially since there are 3 of us. Do you want to go the first (Friday) day, I'll take the 2nd (Saturday) and TrishaL you take the 3rd (Sunday)? Just let me know if that works for y'all. Or if you were wanting to spread out the goodies over several days, that's one too!

I'm good with picking a day each.

For all the girls -can I please have a shoe size? Yes I realize that's random.

Size 7.5 or 8 for me....Elaina wears about a 13
Yes, Sunday is good for me!! If all my stuff won't fit in your FE I'll bring the rest back later the same day :)

Alright we are closed! Elizabeth has Friday, I Have Saturday, and Trish has Sunday. Have a safe journey getting to the ship and I look forward possibly meeting you ladies face to face soon!

Actually, I may deliver my stuff on more than one day as some of it are things I think you may want to enjoy prior to the last day ;)

I see that this forum is closed. Im new to Disney cruise and trying to find on this site a meet forum for March 18th cruise on Dream since we just booked.
Brandee - age 41, husband - 44, son-Nathan-age 15, daughter- Emily- age 12. Stateroom 9504- brandeelewis03@yahoo.com. If anyone could email me tips or meet and greets? Ive always cruised carnival so this is a big step up for us, but meet forums were easier for me on carnival website. Wondering if this cruise might be expensive and long lines of things to do....

There is already a Cruise Meet thread running for this cruise. Fish Extenders are generally handled on your cruise meet thread.

Why would a meet forum be closed?? I just booked this cruise and trying to figure out this disney trip is unusal to see certain forums "closed" yet trying to find meet and greet before I get onboard..., certain excursions already "sold out" onboard activities already "sold out" .. only been a few days since booking and already wondering if it was a mistake even though i LOVE MICKEY... thanks for any input, info, advice, or feedback

The cruise meet thread is not closed. You certainly can still discuss your cruise with others on it. What's closed is the Fish Extender group. This is so the participants have time to prepare their gifts.

thanks PrincessShmoo,,,

How do I follow the meet thread? All that I am seeing is FE ..? Is there a meet and greet without the FE that I am just possibly missing? thank you kindly ;)

Brandee, I am new as well, but as you know...Disney is killer at customer service and does what they do above and beyond excellence. As far as expense, the only thing you need extra for is: souvenirs, tips for room service and servers/room host of you didn't get them included which if I'm not mistaken that Disney recommended like 13.00 a day total, drinks outside of meals(but I would advise bringing a large refillable mug with a lid because there is a free self serve drink station on the top deck), I have read that there will be long lines at the port boarding but it goes pretty quick. Just make sure you check in online and print your signature page to turn in. They say that makes it go faster. Also I read in a cruise insider blog that it is better not to wait for the picture with Mickey at the port dock. The line is super long and you will get tons of chances while on board. You will probably have to wait a little while for the aquaduck but that's just the way it is with any ride. If you dont plan to get off the ship at different ports early then it will be no wait at all as most people are getting off for the islands. My advice is be patient at the boarding port and then kick back and relax! It's gonna be great! Don't worry! It's Disney, they've got ya.

Brandee - you can also do some solid research on Disney cruises on Pinterest. Little things like knowing the doors to your stateroom are magnetic and many cruisers will bring magnets to decorate the hall side of the door (no tape or hooks though!), or even information about getting alternate reservations for different adult only restaurants that can cost additional monies but can reserve/sell out quickly. Good luck - but know that even if you don't plan anything in advance you're going to have an amazing time. The cast/crew will make sure of that.

THank you kindly for ALL the great info!! I was trying to see if anyone in these posts have teens...? Just wondering if my 15 yr old son will have opportunity to meet friends even though he is shy. My daughter is 12 and she will be happy just seeing our buddy mickey and goofy !! ;)
