Hi, thanks for reading. :goodvibes I can not recommend it highly enough!!! You won't be disappointed!

Most things are included in the price, all of your food (including room service -still tip a couple of dollars for delivery though), soft drinks/tea/coffee from the drink stations, ice cream, etc.

The only things that are chargeable are alcohol, latte's/hot choc etc from Cove Cafe, and branded drinks - Coke etc when you order from room service but these are free with meals and available 24/7 from the self serve drink stations. :thumbsup2

I hope that helps, feel free to ask anymore questions. :goodvibes

Sunday 30th January 2011

The alarm went off at 7am! :faint: We got ready and packed the last few bits then made our way down to Animators Palate for our farewell breakfast at 8am, Karen popped down to say goodbye but didn’t stay for breakfast. Lee and I had eggs, sausages, ham, bacon and hash browns washed down with some hot chocolate and fruit juice.

We said goodbye to our servers and made our way off the ship, there was quite a long queue which was moving very slowly, we were talking to a cast member who said that it was because the Port Authority’s would not let Disney employ more Customs Officers even though the ship has almost double the occupancy. :confused3 The ship was also not full which I found surprising, there were 3100 onboard, max occupancy is 4000.

Eventually we exited the terminal and got a taxi to the Radisson to collect our car and other luggage that we had stored with them. We were soon on our way to Animal Kingdom Lodge.

It didn’t take too long to get there and we were soon all checked in, our room was ready too which was a surprise as it was quite early. We were in room 5018 on the Giraffe Trail which had a fab pool view.

We unpacked and then got the bus over to Downtown Disney and of course our first stop was Earl of Sandwich! Lee had the same as he always has “The Original” – Fresh Roasted Beef, Cheddar Cheese & Mayo (instead of the horseradish), I had my favourite “Hawaiian BBQ” – Ham, Chicken, Swiss Cheese, BBQ Sauce & Pineapple:

After lunch we spent a few hours shopping, I bought lots of Christmas decorations in the Christmas shop, along with my regular buys such as a 2011 photo album, scrapbook, scrapbook papers, magnet, pins, vinylmations etc.

After all that shopping we were in need of a drink so we stopped off at the bar in T-Rex, Lee had a Pina Colada and I had a Tropical Cotton-tini (in honour of MandyMouse) which was lovely.

Suitably refreshed we continued with our (or should that be my ;) ) shopping spree for another hour or so. After a while it was close to our 7pm ADR time so we made our way to Raglan Road.

To start we shared the Appetiser D’Lirrah – Dalkey Battered Sausages, Georges Bank Scallops, Guinness Glazed Ribs and Chicken Lickin’ Skewers:

For main course Lee went with the Salmon of Knowledge – Baked Atlantic Salmon Fillet topped with Smoked Salmon, baked and served with a Maple Glaze.

I chose my favourite - Keen Eye for the Shepherd’s Pie:

P1020071.jpg

We also shared some Garlic Parmesan and Truffle Oil skinny Chips:

As always we were not disappointed with Raglan Road, it remains one of our favourites. We picked up some yummy Marshmallow treats from Goofy’s Candy Co:

By now we were feeling so tired, I think last nights late night had caught up with us so we got the bus back to Animal Kingdom Lodge, where we showered and had an early night.

Coming soon – A Key to the Kingdom……
