Anyone order a Dream Light for thier child? If you watch Sprout, you have to have seen the commerical. DD asks for the butterfly one everytime the commerical comes on. I'm considering getting her one for her birthday. Just wondering if they are worth the price.

I bought the penguin one for my son for his birthday. (He already has the regular penguin pillow pet and the mini one.) I think it's way overpriced for basically a glorified nightlight, but I have to admit my son loves his. He doesn't play with it or cuddle it b/c it's kind of hard; it just sits on his nightstand. I paid the additional $ for the power cord. He is afraid of the dark so I used to have to leave his closet light on, now we just have the dream lite on. The website is kind of amateurish and it took forever to ship, so it actually arrived late for his birthday.

My daughter also asked for one every time there commercial came on so I ordered it for her birthday. It was on backorder FOREVER ( it was the unicorn ) she does like it, I turn it on every night and it came with a free mini cat pillow pet. It was expensive but she seems to really like it.

Yeah, that is why I was going to order it for DD. She is not even 2, but everytime that commerical is on she asks for it. She sometimes mentions it when the commerical is not on. I went to the website and it said it won't ship until mid August. Her birthday is at the end of July so it will defnitely be late. Just checking to make sure it actually works. She is also afraid of the dark so hopefully this will help. Thanks for your replies.

I am hoping that around Christmas they will show up in stores. My son is obsessed with the dog ( which he calls Spike) He has the full size, the mid size and the mini. He also has the slippers and the blanket so of course the dream light is being begged for. His birthday is in Jan so I am hoping to find it on sale around the holidays.

I ordered the zebra on 6/11, it shipped 6/13 *I didn't pay any extra for shipping* says it will arrive on 6/21.... come on, I can drive to LA *where it shipped from* in 11 hours. No worries ~ DD's B-day is 7/3.

I just bought the dog dream lite in toysrus. They have the unicorn and dog only. The light changes colors yellow, Green, blue. Happy to have it.

Does anyone know if it stays on all night. We have one of the other types and it only stays on for 45 minutes. If my DD wakes up in the middle of the night she will ask me turn it back on. I would really like to find one that can stay on all night.

I bought the rainbow unicorn dream light pillow pet for my daughter last week at Walmart for $29.99. I am saving it for a gift so I don't know how it works but my daughter really wanted one. I have also heard that they sell them now at Toys R Us.

Glad to hear they are hitting the stores... I *HATE* having to pay shipping... my DD5 is begging for one of these. Maybe they'll have them at CVS soon and I can use my ECBs or something...

I have to say that I am pleasantly surprise with this dream lite. It actually works just as you see it on the TV. I expected it to not be as good. It is great. I will note that is is much smaller than a normal pillow pet. It is the size of the smaller

Anyone more insights on Dream Lites? My 2 kids beg every time on Sprout they see the commercial (it seems to be on constantly, doesn't it??) But all in with shipping for 2 it is $76.80. Wow. Ouch.

Watch the MyPillowPets Facebook page - they sometimes have codes on what they call "Fan Fridays". Just this past weekend they had a code for free shipping - unfortunately it expired yesterday.

I picked one up at walmart and it was $29 as well. It has a switch on the bottom where it will shut itself off after 20 minutes. My son is four and LOVES it.

I've seen them at both Walmart and Walgreens lately! My son has wanted one for a while.....guess I will be picking one up soon!
