i haven’t been on the dream before. I asked the cruise line staff if there is a minimum thickness of the light cards, and she said to just use our key to the world. That’s great but I wanted to make out own with card stock and laminate them. Would that work?

Thank you!

think any standard loyalty card or credit card I have seen people make stickers for an old card and use that :3dglasses

I usually use the room key from whatever hotel we stay at the night before the cruise. Those are usually a bit thinner than a credit card or the KTTW card, but still work fine.

Not sure card stock would work that well unless it was really sturdy, since I think it might tend to buckle with repeated pushing it up and down into the card detector, and might slip back down into the card detector when you move it to the "up" position when leaving the room. If you want something disney themed, I would suggest finding an old plastic card you don't need and laminating a disney image on top of it.

Another option is there are lots of cute disney-cruise-themed light cards on Etsy available for a dollar or so. We bought these for our FE group last cruise and got an extra one for ourselves because they were so cute.

I took an old Disney gift card and put a small piece of stick on magnet on one end. Whenever we left the room, we pulled it out and stuck it to the wall right above the light slot. It made it super easy to grab when we entered the room. I have them ready to take on our next cruise!

That is what we have done over the years. We just use the last cruise KTTW card with a piece of sticky magnet. It's Disney, its a KTTW card, and it works.
