Dream July 19, 2011 - 5 Night Bahamas!

I was reading on the main board that you should close your FE group 1 to 2 months prior yo your cruise. Do we have a final list yet? I;m getting so excited. Just ordered stateroom gifts for my mom's birthday.

Donnetta, we had decided awhile back that we'd close the FE 30 days prior to our sail date. On pg 15.

Hi we are at Bay Lake Tower before the cruise, we are from Bucks County PA. New Britain Township
Jeff

Jeff: we must meet up at BLT for a little while......maybe at the Contempo Cafe or Top of the World.....when time gets closer...let's plan:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Hi all!

I just posted starter threads for our cruise on the Teen Disney Dis board, one for teens and one for tweens. I'll encourage my kids to post, and please let yours know in case they're interested!

46 Days!!!!

Joni

We also have our cruise documents - also doing the happy dance, and my DH seems to think I've lost my mind, although I don't hear any complaining from him about going. :cool1:

Hey all FE participants - we are officially at the 30 day mark :cool1::cool1:! Make sure you have added your information to the FE list if you are participating (verify the information is correct)! Here's the list

My ENTIRE family is traveling with all of you and I would like to surprise them with FE - but I have never participated in the group - what are the rules and requirements? Can someone give me the info? Thanks

MacDisney - if you go to the main DCL discussion there is a sticy with FAQ's. Scroll down to FE (it's an alphabetical list) and there are links to more info on FE. Are you also cruising? If not, it would be difficult to participate without telling them about it. There needs to be an FE of some sort to collect the items and they (you) also need to pass out items to the others participating.

Let us know very soon if you are joining us.

MacDisney thanks for adding your info to the FE list. Some people personalize their gifts so you might want to add names.

To all participating in the FE - it is now closed! Happy creating
Does anyone have any allergies people should be aware of?

OK, we are getting close! It is now time to panic:scared1:
Been on 8 Disney cruises and I still freak out over forgetting something, getting reservations, I think I actually think of things to worry about! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I do have a question: If anyone is staying at WDW before cruise, how are you getting to the port? I have booked a personal driver but think his rates may be a little high. Any suggestions?:confused3

The excitement over the Dream is really building. :cheer2:We have read, watched on TV everything we could about the new ship. Lots of negative reviews but we are NOT GOING TO BELIEVE ANYONE till we experience the ship ourselves. Even though we've done a total of 8 cruises on the Wonder/Magic, I am still learning things from the cruise boards (tips). We are bringing along a family that has never cruised, so excited for them:yay::yay::yay:

If anyone has suggestions about transportation, please post. Thank you so much! Lucy

We're flying in the day before and staying at Pop Century. Then taking the Disney transfers the next day. I know you get there a little later-but it is so convenient. Then we return to the Wilderness Lodge for 2 nights after.
I'm excited- but will be even more excited when school is done! Two more days of 24 2nd graders! I'm ready for the vacation!

You are STILL in school:scared1::scared1::scared1: my sympathies:grouphug:

Lucy, we are driving and will be at Kidani Village for 5 nights prior to the cruise. My niece and her family are flying and using Magical express to get to WDW and then using a towncar service to get to the port. I don't remember who she went with though. She may reply to your question.

Hey all -

I only get on about once a month and am way behind on posts again due to crazy work and activity schedules. Our family is beyond excited and we can't believe we are under a month to departure.

Do we have any plans to get together and meet each other or a way to identify each other? Like at the Castaway party meet on the top deck across from the jumbo screen? And do something stupid like tie a white string around your ankle? (Sorry I'm not too creative -thats all I can come up with:rotfl:) Or take a group picture between dinner seatings on formal night a the Donald statue in the atrium? Our family is still planning to do hobie cat races at Castaway Cay around 2pm both day's we're there if anyone is interested. Teams of 1 adult & 1 kid.

Karen- I see you have a dd13 too - I'm going to PM you with my dd13's email so the girls can get in touch if that is ok. She was just saying this weekend how she hopes to meet someone her age.
