Getting excited...especially now that the Dream is here.
We booked our airfare and are flying in one day before and staying two days after. Not sure where we should stay yet. Any suggestions?

Karen, before the Tortola cruise we stayed at the Radisson. There are a lot of cruise people that stay there. The shuttle service worked well, we were on the 1st shuttle. You need to sign up for the shuttle when you make your reservation. On the main board I've seen a lot of people staying at Country Inn & Suites.

One warning - after staying at DVC accommodations the room at Radisson was very small!

I spent yesterday pricing and budgeting various options for our family. But given the kids' band camp schedule, we may only arrive one day early and stay at the comfort suites. It is across from the beach, cheap, breakfast included and also has a cruise shuttle/park & cruise.

We've stayed at the Raddisson (overnight) & the Ron Jon (three nights) pre-cruise. We loved the Ron Jon for a multi-day stay. Plenty of activities, water park & beautiful beach, kitchen, washer/dryer. We're on their e-mail list, last year we were able to get a discount code for a cheaper rate.

If you want a bit more room, Marriott residence inn is the same price as the Raddisson, includes breakfast and has a shuttle/park & cruise.

Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know that we have canceled this cruise. My cousin has let us know that she is getting married! So the wedding is on July 9 in Chicago and we just couldn't do the wedding and the cruise during our vacation time. We would have to be gone over 3 weeks. So, we did book a 9 day Princess cruise for the day after the wedding so that we could compact our travel plans into less days.

We are really bummed about not sailing on the Dream, but we will get to go to NYC for the first time and we will still be in the Caribbean.

Hi! We are from PA, but the other side of the state near Pittsburgh. We also have two little girls who will be 6.5 in July for the cruise!

We just upgraded our room!!! I went online to see when we needed to make final pymt in order to book stuff early and saw they have an upgrade feature on the website now. This may have been there all along, but this is the 1st I've seen it. Anyway we went from a cat 9 on deck 2 to a cat 5E gty for about $800. Veranda baby!!!

I'm excited and a bit nervous - we've never had a gty room before. But the worst we will have is a veranda so no worries.

Keep the FE info coming, I'm making a list and checking it twice.

My daughter Karly will be one of them. Hopefully they can play in the clubs together. I think we are right down the hall from the twins.
