Not having a cruise booked at this time, I can’t check myself but someone mentioned it was in the ‘special requests’ section, like distilled water for a CPAP and railings for the bed. That would mean it is not a time-sensitive request.

You can now request things like private table, near a window, near a screen, etc in the app and it can be done at any time, completely separate from the 30 day check in.

My understanding is that via the app one can request one and only one of options -- private table or near window or near a screen, not a combination of them. That is how it worked when I went through the application recently.

We haven't sailed since they added this, but have had cruises with tables next to the screens and cruises with tables further away. I don't really care for a table right by the screens because some of the tables are situated so that your back is by the screen. So you either have to turn around to see it or look at another screen across the room(which defeats the purpose of sitting by the screen).

For anyone who has been able to make this selection, how far ahead of your cruise could you make this special request? I got to that screen but the dropdown menu was greyed out. The app would, however, let me note the birthday in my party.

ETA: Nevermind, I was able to do it on the web site. The option on the app must just not be enabled for some reason. Fingers crossed we get it. My eldest kid absolutely loved Turtle Time with Crush when we did it when he was 5, but his younger brother has never experienced it because we've always too busy running from one ride to the next the past few trips.

I have not used the 'Table Requests' section; however, I did recently use the 'Child Amenities' requests via the app to request a Pack 'n Play, and our stateroom host had one in our room ready to go before we ever got there.
