Dream Cruise - November 25, 2012

Do you HAVE to do the whole muster thing? I saw on here someplace that someone uses that time to unpack. What happens if you just skip it?

It was a huge pain in the butt on our last cruise, and seemed like a waste of time.

You really should. No life jackets are required now and it's electronic. Disney does a pretty good job at keeping it to about 15-20 min. I think in may we only waited 7. So it's not too bad. :)

Hey, anyone know what happens when you make a reservation and can't make it back in time? I made a reservation for hubby for a massage late afternoon on the day we are at Castaway Cay..........what if he doesn't get back in time? Do they still charge you? Just cancel it? No-show fee? thanks.

It's all back on the boat at 4pm so if it's late afternoon I don't think he would miss it..but yes, they can charge you for it..if you are worried I would just cancel or change the time :)

I ended up canceling! There were no time that worked. Late afternoon interfered with dinner or a how (which he wants to enjoy with our kids). So, oh well. No massage. Not the wort thing.

Can't wait.

Oh good grief! Can you tell my "s" key sticks? "how is suppose to be "Show" and "wort" is suppose to be "worst" LOL

OMG!!! We are so so very excited! :yay:
Almost finished our FE, this was much harder to do than I anticipated..... but I think its looking good (if I do say so myself!!!) The gifts are 90% done and
I am packing this weekend as we have decided to get a few days in Disney (should be nice a busy! lol) Cannot wait for next week to be over!! So excited! Anyone going first to Disney?

I'm packing this weekend too! We are driving to Orlando early, but no Disney before the cruise. We are doing Epcot the day after we get off the cruise.

Epcot is our favorite, no one seems to like it as well as the others though!

We are going to go to Seaworld soon, and probably Magic Kingdom both for their christmas stuff (we have passes to Seaworld that expire at the end of the year), but I'm guessing we won't go until after the cruise, too much to do between now and then and I don't want to go holiday weekend!

There is a fall festival tonight we might go to, and I'm doing a carseat presentation all day on Saturday, I'm a carseat tech.

Our shirts, FE and pillowcases have not come in yet. I ordered them in late September. Now to be fair I told her I didn't need them until around the 20th of November so she isn't late yet. I have emailed her twice to ask about them and each time she responded that she was schedule. I guess I just feel she should have emailed me instead. Maybe I am just overly anxious. However, if they get here in time for the cruise and something is wrong with them, I won't have time to do anything else. pout. I need to stop worrying so much! LOL
I am just sooooooooo ready! I wish it was a longer cruise but since it is our first we wanted to take a short "test drive."

Finally making some progress on things - my "to do" list is getting shorter!! Had an issue with the bags I bought for the kids FE gifts - too small, so had to get new ones and now I'm hoping they will fit in the FE! Ready at last to bag everything up. Still trying to get last minute pirate items together and then I can actually start packing! Our first Thanksgiving in Orlando! Yaaaay!

We are totally ready to go, now I just need to pack. LOL

Heading out on the Auto Train next Tuesday. We will be there on Wednesday!!!! We are only planning to go to Blizzard Beach and Quest and spend some time looking at neighborhoods and areas around Disney to be better prepared to move.

Can't wait to get out of the cold and get back to Florida!

We were wondering about Atlantis as well???

Our FE arrived today!!! So impressed!!! Almost finished w/ our FE gifts - still working on packing & shopping. :o

Anyone else had Mickey or Goofy call their little ones?? Our lil' guy loved that!

Everyone has been so busy. Safe travels to those leaving soon, it's nice here mid 70's. can't wait to meet everyone. :)

Still need to get working on FE gifts. I've been slacking, but had 6 orders come in for thanksgiving, so at least I was busy!!

I didn't know about the call, I'll have to look into it when DS is a little older.

I set up the call from Mickey for the night before, Levi is already driving me nuts with how excited he is so I don't want to do it any sooner. I think I'm going to set it up for my grandpa too, he would probably like it too!

I finished making the main stuff for Levi's pirate costume today, just need to make the bandana. I have 3 thanksgiving shirts to sew up for people and then I have a TON more sewing for Levi's outfits for the cruise, so lots of work!

Turkey shirt: ( made 2, 3 left to do!)

I love to do the letter turkeys each year but I haven't seen any w/ feet & feathers before --- CUTE!!! I keep asking myself how many years I get "to play dress up" with my little (BIG) guy. I'm afraid I'm pushing it with 3 but it is so fun!! ;)

Pushing it at 3? Levi is 5 and still LOVES to dress up and he has friends who's whole family dresses up, with kids older than Levi.

That makes me feel better!!! :) I'm thankful I had a boy b/c I would be in BIG trouble "playing dress up" with all the girl options but I always thought my time was very limited. There are just not as many choices with boys!! I like for him to have a shirt for the occasion as much as possible! :)

I just got off the phone with Disney to order our champagne pkg, 3 night wine pkg & Rainforest Day passes. YAY! It's getting close.
