I have a quick question about the bed configuration on the Dream. You know how most cruise ship cabins have two twin beds that can be put together to make one big bed - is this the case on the Dream? My friend and I are considering a cruise on the Dream and we DON'T want the beds put together. We want separate sleeping arrangements. Will we be able to accomplish that?

Thanks for the info!

Unfortunately, the beds on the Dream are queen-size and do not separate into two twin beds. Pretty much your only option is for one person in the bed, and the other on the convertible sofa.

I had a feeling that was the case. Of course, most of the people traveling on the Dream are families and one bed works fine, but, when friends are traveling together, not so much.

You make this sound like this is a bad thing. By using the queen bed and the convertible sofa, you'll actually each get more privacy than if you had a queen bed split into two twins. With the privacy curtain dividing the space, you will each have your own area in the stateroom. Plus the convertible sofa is actually quite comfortable, unlike a traditional pull-out sofa bed.
