Hello Everyone,

I'm a first timer, what does all the abbreviations mean? How do I get my family involved in the Fish Extenders?

Click on the link to the first page (either the title of the thread or the number on at the top right of the page). You'll see post numbers in the right hand side of each post. Scroll down to post #4 for all the up to date information on our cruise and how you can give us your information for the FEE.

Once you have reached 10 posts, you will be able to PM other members of the DISboards. Until then you can ask questions on the open forum to build your post count.

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin. Other information you would like to share such as first names, ages of child participants, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one has come forward to organize a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to start the FE right in this thread.

There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS. If anyone is interested in doing this, feel free to contact me for some suggestions.

Unfortunately, no one has come forward here on the DIS to organize a FE for this cruise here on the DIS. Please feel free to start one right in this thread.

Wife and I are taking the Grandkids and are interested in doing the FE. any guidance would be appreciated.

I am more than happy to transfer all the info over to here as well. At this point in summary... we had agreed to the FE lists being limited to 15 cabins per list. We are on list 3. Feel free to PM me with any questions or concerns.

I'm not sure how to PM I've def tried. We're first time Disney cruisers and would like to participate in the FE.
My DS is Liam McDonald he's 6 and he likes Mickey, Donald Duck and BayMax.
My DD Loghan McDonald will be 4 in March and she likes All of the Princesses and Minnie.
My DH (Billy) and I (JC) won't be participating but the kids would love it. We're also traveling with my husband's parents who are
as excited as we are to set sail!

We have a 3 yr old but she'll be 4 by the time we cruise. i like you am trying to figure out this PM thing so I'll keep posting until it shows up. Did you get any other info. I just posted my info on here.

For those who are new with only a few posts , you will not be able to use the PM system until you reach 10 posts. You can go to the DIS Technical Support/Test board where you can quickly and easily post some one word (or one letter) posts to get the count up to 10.

Once you have 10 posts, you will be able to send a PM (now called "Conversation"). There will be a link at the upper right on every page to your "Inbox" and you can click on any username and a link to "Start a conversation" will be available. In addition, you will then be able to upload images and have links in your signature.

You will still need to find someone to organize the FE (or volunteer yourself ). If you would consider doing that, please let me know as I can help with some suggestions.

Hi All! Going on the Disney Dream cruise on April 20th with my husband, mother in law, and 3 year old daughter. We've sailed before but never heard of the fish extenders. Would love to participate so any info is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
