Since we're starting to get a few more folks interested in an FE exchange, I'm happy to organize and get the ball rolling.

I'm at an all day lacrosse tournament but I can start up a spreadsheet when I'm home tonight. It will make a fun break from my Masters class.

I'm back and ready to organize our FE group.
What's an FE? For those of you who aren't familiar with the fish extender exchange, here are a few post links which explain it all: FE 101 Basics, and FE Info.

If you are interested in joining the FE exchange for our Dream cruise, just shoot me an email at Dreamcruise92012@yahoo.com. In the email send me your stateroom number, Disboard name, first name of each person in the stateroom, relationship to you (DH, DW, DP, DD, DS, DM, etc.) including ages and gender of children. (The details help folks who may want to personalize their gifts and will be kept confidential to the FE group.) For example here is mine:
Stateroom: 8A GTY
Disname: golfnsuch
First name: Elizabeth (DD)
Age: Kid at Heart
Disname: N/A
First name: Patricia (DM)
Age: Kid at heart

From scanning the posts, thus far, the following cruisers posted they would want to join in the fun: rbthntschl, princssdisnygina, FLORIDA DAD, squeeblc, & DVCNuts. Please let me know if that is still the case. The more the merrier!

As for any rules, I'll leave that up to the participants. Group size will depend on the number of Dis'ers interested, although I do think it will be helpful to have a cut off date in Sept for those FE participants who make their gifts, like me.

Once I have confirmation to the list of interested peeps, I will send out a spreadsheet with details via personal email. I will not post it here, though, as it may provide personal info on kids which should be protected.

Can't wait for the fun to begin!

Just booked this cruise with my BFF. It's our forth Disney, but first on the Dream. Also booked my parents in an adjoining cabin for their second Disney cruise. I have been reading up on the FE ideas and it sounds like fun. I'll email our info later. I have to get back to watching the Stanley Cup finals.

I am thinking that we may want to be a part of the FE too but haven't read all the info on it. (More worried about $ than anything else)

The normal process is to deliver the FE gifts on any day you would like on the cruise.


While no FE get together, there usualy is a get together for the DIS boards on the first day. It is normally around 3PM or so and a set location. We did ours at Bon Voyage on our last cruise. The group on this board seems so nice that I am hoping we can organize a get together.

I've started to make some FE gifts. I'm also thinking I might try and bring some UK themed treats. Would anyone object to this? I live in Newcastle Upon Tyne in UK and thought some gifts from home might be appreciated.
