Ok so who wants to participate in a F/E exchange? If you would like to send me a PM with

names and ages of everyone in your party (or mom/dad for adults if you'd rather)
favorite characters
special occasions you're celebrating
Allergies
Any additional comments (ie no alcohol or no candy)

I'll be posting this info in the second post on this thread if you don't want it posted there let me know and when the list is finalized I will send it out in a private email to everyone. If by chance the list gets bigger than 15-20 cabins we can divide it but we can just see if we get that many before we worry about it.

Ok, I finally remembered to come on here & do this LOL

We have:
Cyndi (me, the mom); too many "fave" characters, really - any of the princesses / fairies / dragons (I love Figment & Elliot) / Mickey & Minnie / etc; I'm allergic to fish but I doubt it'll come up in gifts
Jason (dad); Marvel / Star Wars / Carl from Up / Grumpy the dwarf
Elliot (4); Disney Jr characters / Cars / Toy Story / Mickey & the gang; celebrating his 4th birthday (it's really before the cruise - we'll be at HS on the actual day); he can't eat hard candies yet but I can just give to his big sis if we do get any
Izzy (12); Stitch / any Wonderland characters / pirates / the "less cutesy" teen fairies (her description); celebrating her "un-birthday" since her brother's getting a full week of Disney birthday magic - I'd like to have FE gifts focused more on her, even if it means Elliot (or the adults) don't get some

I am posting our info here because I dont have facebook. I feel like a dinosaur .

For the fish extender group:
Cathy (mom) love everything disney, Chris (dad) tigger is his favorite,
Kristin (will be 12 on cruise) her favorite is Belle right now, but loves
all disney characters also.
We are only celebrating that we are going to Disney World and
on the cruise. We have been in quite a dry spell since it will have
been 3 years since we have been to the World.
I think I will be doing a Halloween theme on our fish extender.

In response to Kristin question about clothes to wear, I can only speak
of my experience on the other 5 cruises we have done that was not
with Disney. Cruise casual for us was a shirt with collar for dh(golf shirt),
nice shirt and capris for me, and a dress for my dd. Formal night was
a dress for me and dd, and shirt and tie for dh.

I have a question for experienced Disney cruisers:
I love to be at the port early, but will be riding the bus from Disney World.
Does anyone how to catch an early bus to the port? We will be staying
at POFQ.

I updated the second post with the info I've read so far. If when you post on this thread you click subscribe it will send you daily updates when there are posts which I find makes it easier to keep track of.

Cathy don't worry about being on Facebook. As far as the exchange I'll be posting all the info in both places in case we have people on one and not the other. I'm so excited to have others wanting to participate it's really going to be exciting for my son. As for magical express I believe the earliest one there is around noon, but I could be wrong I live locally so I have never used the magical express.

Having Halloween stuff going on while we are on board should be lots of fun, we took a three day last Sept and missed the Halloween festivities. We are really looking forward to lots of relaxing.

Before I forget to ask what kind of clothes do I need to bring for dinner?

Kristin I missed this before sorry! There are the three dining rooms for dinner for Animators and enchanted we cruise casual (polo, khakis for the guys my hubby wore nice black shorts one of those nights, I wore capris and a collared sleeveless shirt) and then for royal we wore dressier clothes.

I'm booked on this cruise!!!! Traveling with DH & DD. We're headed to WDW after the cruise, so packing space for FE gifts is limited. If the group stays small, we would love to participate!!

Ok, I realized today that I needed to add Nightmare Before Christmas to my hubby's character list - I always forget that one's Disney! LOL
And I should mention that we all love Halloween, so seasonal stuff would be great!

I am so excited about the fish extender gifts that i am working on completing the first two families gifts. I am not very crafty but i am excited about what i am making for the mom Tif, will you please add to the list here those that agree to do the fish extender. I am going to work on each cabin as they sign up.

Cathy I will keep the list here up to date on anyone who's participating. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do it on Facebook but I'll get it, I think I need to do it from an actual computer. Lol

Darlene if you would like to participate we can make a note that you will need small gifts due to travel constraints. If the group gets to more than 15 cabins then I think we will start multiple lists and you can participate in as many as you like or just one. They will be grouped as people sign up so you can start working as soon as you sign up though.

So far we only have 3 families participating in the fish extender who else would like to join??

I submitted a request on the FB Group page. Wanted to leave a note here too.

I am SO excited to be on this cruise! I will be cruising with my BFF Heather this time. Leaving the kiddos at home with the Dads!

I just got off the Magic on Monday. It was fabulous! Had a great time with my Mom and my daughters. Only complaint was that it went by too fast.

Looking forward to getting to know you all as we count down to the Dream!

Two families in adjacent state rooms... everyone's first Disney cruise!

We'd like to participate in the Fish Extender group, as well!

Will there be anything Halloween related going on at this time? The Australians said Halloween is not a big thing where they are, and I'm sure the kids would get a kick out of seeing something different.

Anyway:

Family of 5 from Australia, parents celebrating 15-year anniversary. Kids will be surprised the morning of the cruise. I will try to find out about favorite movies/characters.

• Paul (dad): Celebrating a "speed limit" birthday
• Pina (mom): Celebrating a non-speed-limit birthday
• Anthony: Age 13
• Isabella: Age 11
• Jennifer: Age 10

Family of 2 from Orlando, celebrating 5-year anniversary.

• Joe: Celebrating a non-speed-limit birthday, favorite movie is "Cars" (Lightning and Luigi are the favorite characters)

Yes, each cabin is participating on its own. I just play travel coordinator for our family down under because they have enough to deal with
