That was really a surprise for our family - I didn't realize they still did that at HS. We really enjoyed it - and came home with a book for the kids to learn to draw the characters, too.
It is located at the end of the animation tour at DHS in the character greeting area. Or you can enter the area by exiting the back of the Disney Galllery/Art of Disney Store. The tour is a half hour drawing class. You enter a room and seat at a drawing desk row with animation paper and pencil. The animator will talka nd explaina bout the process abit and then select a character to draw from audience suggestion. They bring you thru the steps and when you're done you get to bring your artwork home. It's a lot of fun!
I thought they would help you create your own character! I wanted to create a disney version salvidor dali holding a paintbrush with eyes and a mouth! OH WELL we will still have fun.
I am not sure I know where it is located. Is this in HS? Is this part of a tour you have to pay for? This would be so much fun for our June trip. I'd love to have more details. Thanks
