I was wondering if you can drape more fabric around the ballrooms or if its just the canopy of twinkle lights that you can do? I wanted to do a lot more drapery on the walls :yay: thanks for the help girls!

I have heard that you can, but I think it is very expensive. I think one bride had it on her BEO for the Whitehall room and it was over $3k, so I imagine a larger room would probably run you $8k+.

Our venue room is quite small... I think it's around 41' by 81'... to drape the whole room it would've cost us almost 5k. We opted to just drape the one wall behind the sweetheart table... that's only costing just under 1k. I think it adds a really nice affect and is worth it.

IDK what venue you're looking at for your reception, but I initially wanted the entire ballroom draped. After thinking about it I decided against it because I realized I would lose all the character of the room and it would look like a tent. After the wedding I asked (just because I was curious) how much it would have been and was told over 10K for the room I had. Most of the charge is for the labor and equipment. It totally would have been a "budget buster". If I truly wanted it-- I would've been better off w/ a couture wedding reception b/c the draping is included in the decor fee. Just a thought. If you can swing it and truly want it then go for it-- Disney certainly won't stop you! :goodvibes
