Here we are at day 6 already. Vacation was flying by. The night before we decided that we would be going off site for breakfast. Joe was having trouble with his feet and wanted to get new shoes so we were going to the Nike outlet as well.
We decided on "poisonous Perkins" for breakfast. You may be asking why we'd go to a place that we have nicknamed "poisonous." Well, they opened a new Perkins here in town several years back. Joe and I went for breakfast. Later that day, I ended up at the ER...not because of what I ate, but because I had glass in my foot. In the waiting room were three people who all ate at the same Perkins! They were all having a conversation and all of them had eaten there that day....so had we. Turns out that we were fine but man, did that scare me. We ended up walking out though and Joe "operated" to get the glass out of my foot. After several hours waiting, I just wanted to go home.
Anywho, back to my TR.
We went to the Perkins near Crossroads. Our waitress was sort of interesting. There were six of us and she didn't write down a thing. She had a Minnie Mouse sort of voice from what I put in my trip notes. I was amazed at what she was able to remember. Later on that week we compared our bill to that of our breakfast at Kona. Guess what was more expensive...yep, poinsonous Perkins.
By the way, we do love the Perkins in Orlando and go there every visit at least once.
This is what I had and they were delicious!
Someone at the table had pancakes and check out the hidden Mickey. Thanks Perkins for keeping the magic alive!
After breakfast, we headed down the street to the outlet mall. I can never remember exactly what outlet mall it is though. We went straight for the Nike store. We may as well have been in Siberia. It was freaking freezing in that store. So cold that mom and I went outside while the rest of the family shopped. Joe got his shoes and my nephew got a pair as well.
From there we went to the Disney outlet. What a lame store. Holy crap, that place was almost scary. I did manage to find very inexpensive scrapbooking supplies and pixie dust for my holiday cards. Yep, I am one of those that loads my holiday cards with sprinkles.
From there we went back to DTD. I STILL needed to find a dang shirt for our photoshoot that was fastly approaching. Yes, I had set the whole stupid "earth tone" rule and wouldn't you know it...not a single earth tone polo in the joint so far.
We went to World of Disney first.
I remember getting a bunch of stuff and having it sent back to the resort, but ask me now what I got....not a clue.
We then went to Team Mickey.
And then Tren D, where I got two pair of earrings that I love. One silver, the other gold.
From there to Once Upon a Toy for more vinylmation trading.
I had been walking around with two in my bag to trade. I told Joe that I wanted to be done buying them because honestly, had we just spent $240 we'd have the entire TS set and we were close to that amount by this time. Well, he got another one and I think my brother pushed him to do it.

Next we went to Goofy's again. My bro wanted to get sugar free candy for his girlfriend and I really wanted a chocolate covered pretzel.
All of our shopping complete, we went back to our resort to determine what we'd do next since we pitched our itinerary out the window the night before.
