Drake and Josh question

OK, I have been watching this show with my daughter for a long time now and I have yet to figure this out....I know Drake and Josh are step brothers, one from the mother and one from the father and I THOUGHT Megan was their sister by their mother and father having a daughter but then today I was watching and they said their mom and dad met and were married 5 years ago-Megan is about 9 in the show so who's daughter is Megan??

Megan is the daughter of Drakes mother. You learn in the show that at a baseball game Drake and Josh run into each other and get into an argument.. They did not know each other or anything but the mom had the stroller who was megan.

I've been watching this show with my son for a year or so and it never mentions them.

DS11 watches that show voraciously. I see bits of it here and there, and I had asked him these questions before. He'd always say "I dunno." I thought he was just being his usual self. Good to know it's not just him.

Yeah, Megan and Drake are the mom's and Josh is the Dad's.
I've probably seen every episode and they've never said what happened to the other parents. Thay don't even mention them.
My kids love this show. I'm actually a little sad that they aren't making any new ones.
After the missing parents question, my biggest one is...How do you think Josh lost all of his weight? He looks great and I think its fantastic. Heck, i want to do the Josh diet.

They are not making any new episodes? That's sad.

As for diet, I've heard two different things. I've heard gastric bypass but that has been denied. I've also heard he did the "Ray Ramano" diet which had something to do with cider vinegar!

My kids have seen all the episodes as well.

Megan has a new show coming out in the fall, not sure what it's called. Drake is focusing on his music and I have no idea what Josh is gonna do.
First I assumed he had surgery, but then I figured it'd be in all of the papers, the only thing I read was he started exercising and eating right. If that's the case, that's a whole lot of willpower and good for him.
Wish I could buy willpower...

Some trivia for those who don't know...

Drake's first name is Jared, Drake is his middle name and his mother Robin is a professional billiards player.

Drake and Josh are best friends off the show also.

Josh Peck has 3 movies coming out in the next year. He was the voice of one of the pussum brothers in Ice Age: The Meltdown. He also won critical praise for his portrayal of a bully in the movie Mean Creek. He is looking to have a film career after Drake & Josh.

Drake Bell has 1 film coming out this year, and is focusing on his music as well.
