Has anyone ever tried this software??? I'm thinking of trying it out.

A number of lawyers tried it at a client of ours. It does work however it takes a lot of work to get it to work right. You have to train it to your voice and also have to learn to speak slowly and very dis tinct ly.
Out of 3 lawyer that tried it one still uses it the other 2 are back to the keyboard.
I tried it out and actually used it in chat one nite.. kinda neat

Long learning curve for both you and the computer. The tutorial walks you through it to 'teach' the computer your individual speech patterns. You have to be very patient with the tutorial and do it step by step....skipping stuff you 'think' you've got down will really throw the computer off. It also requires that you be careful as you begin to use it to correct all of its mistakes because it learns from your corrections. If you don't take time to fix its initial little mistakes, they begin to compound and the program is never as efficient as it could be. Basically, don't expect it to work like games or other programs where you pop it in and it runs. That being said, if you know this going in and are willing to invest the necessary time in the beginning, the program works very well and can save lots and lots of time in the long run.....particularly if you are a bad speller or poor typist.
