Anyone know if they are permanently gone for good RIGHT now? This is such a bummer, we loved them!

They are LONG gone. Disney choose not to renew their contract earlier this year. The press was in order to "give guests something new". The "new" had visa issues (so I am told). So the guests get an empty space (although sometime Mulan meets in that area), and WDW saves money.

If you want to see Chinese acrobats, members of the same troupe perform everyday at Sea World.
