OK, so maybe she's actually biologically female, but my first thought when I saw the video with the sound off (I was at work) was that DVC hired a drag queen to sell DVC!

I thought that Stacey (is that her name) was annoying with the screaming the Top Ten Rides at WDW, but this woman is worse! Much Much Worse.

Good lord...stop the screaming!

Its not a drag queen but she sure is annoying i think she is wearing a wig and her voice is annoying

I'm a DVC owner (in both Florida and California), and I sent off a polite but strongly worded email to DVC after they used this "Deevy See" character in their advertising.

She was first used for BLT (Bay Lake Towers) in Florida and then the VGC (Villas at the Grand Californian) online grand opening. She is extremely annoying, tacky, etc., and the videos with her in them just don't represent the magic and quality we have come to expect from Disney. If I didn't already own DVC, she would have persuaded me not to buy.

Someone from DVC called me in response to the email I sent, and she listened politely to me but didn’t make any promises. Since then I'm still getting new emails with links to the continuing Deevy See saga. The title is "Deevy See packs her bags," but unfortunately she hasn't gone far enough away. I absolutely refuse to watch any more Deevy See videos - I just delete the emails without reading them.

She/this is horrible!
I don't know how they think this is going to sell DVC!
I am apalled that disney would think this was a good way to sell DVC.

Ummm... wow... that's one of the most annoying things I've seen or heard in a long time.

I don't think you've seen too many real drag queens. Maybe go see the Dragon boat races in your area.

I respectfully disagree. She might not be everyone's cup of tea, but what is wrong with trying different advertising approaches? I got an email with a link to watch her latest adventure, so I don't see how people were forced to watch it.

I haven't said that I was forced to watch it, I watch it once and I probably wouldn't watch it again. We have different opinions that's all;)

Deevy See has been around for a long time. The just recently started using her in the advertising. I have seen her in person several times. I find the voice and personality of the character extremely annoying. Haven't watched her adventures because I would have to block my ears. My whole body cringes up when she enters the room.

Deevy has been around for awhile. Go to welcome home wednesday on the Boardwalk to see her. She puts on a good show and is very entertaining.
She brings in the crowds (although the free hats may help.) She does a good job at promoting DVC membership. She pokes fun at herself and has a very quick wit. My wife asked her off stage what kind of red she used on her hair. She said she is never around long enough to see what they use on it.

Don't be too quick to judge.

Love to see a diversity of folks... like to see Disney use more shapes and sizes as well... I have seen many a pooh sized DVC'er.. why not pooh sized CM's sales associates as well?

:confused3

Her voice is kinda of annoying, but I saw her once too at WDW and she is really funny. She is just a fun character, reminds me of a Streetmosphere performer.

I don't care about her size (which looks pretty average to me), it's her voice and irritating personality that turns me off. I don't think she's a good representative for selling DVC. She certainly does not project the average DVC member, nor what I picture when I think DVC.

I just annoyed that they'll spend money on this rubbish but take away member perks such as the free valet (to name just one). I stopped viewing the videos after the first one annoyed me way too much.
Do our annual dues pay for this kind of advertising? It certainly doesn't do it for me

She has been around a while. As Kim said she just started appearing quite a bit in the advertising of DVC in general.

You will also see her at the DVC Welcome Home Wednesday event at the Boardwalk Dance Hall. She does her marketing pitch and is the host of the Jeopardy style game show.

I dont think she is a drag queen but she is annoying and the advertisements with her are a bit cheesy for Disney. Just my opinion though.
