Dr. Who and Space Mountain music?

Has anyone else noticed that the music for Space Mtn. is very similar to the theme for dr. who? DH noticed this during our trip. I didn't believe him, but we're watching Dr. Who today and it's definitely giving me the Space Mtn. vibe!

I don't even know about Dr. Who music but the music for the refurbed Space Mtn was written by the same person who wrote the music for The Incredibles and it has a very similar quality to that music.

I agree - I never thought it was Dr. Who music or written by the same person but it has the same style.

As a Doctor Who nerd who's dd has ridden SM, but I haven't, I don't know what SM sounds like. I'll have to get on youtube and watch a ride.

Which Doctor Who, though? The series started in the 60's originally, and the theme is different for each Doctor. But, I am curious if that's maybe somewhat of what it is modeled off of.

That would be one very interesting fact, if it is!

It reminds me of the David Tennant "running" music or something along those lines. Definitely not Tom Baker or any from that era. (yes, another old Dr. Who nerd too!)

I'm going to have to check this out on our trip! I remember watching Dr Who and thinking the music reminded me of something - maybe it's Space Mountain!!
