Does anyone know if he is still doing his show daily? Is there a chance to take pictures with him after or does he sign autographs? My DS8 is a huge Marvel fan and I'd love to surprise him with this when we're there next week.
I wasn't sure if this was a temporary thing to promote the movie or if it was still going on.
Thanks!

No autographs.
No pictures but for those in the show
It is going on now but could end anytime (and likely will end with no notice)
I was actually surprised last week when he picked all but 2 kids in the audience. I didn't get a sense they were upset so I guess it didn't matter but I felt sort of bad for them.
DH even got picked as an adult, which surprised me because I knew it was for kids only. But, he did it to show that not everyone who tries gets accepted. DH didn't

He's still listed on wdwent.com

@EveClark ~ It's being reported that today, December 2nd, will be Dr. Strange's last day in DHS. His interactive show is not being extended.

Dang, quick. I am not surprised he is leaving just that it's been that fast.
Any clue on if Universal put up a stink? Or what. Seems odd to go to this much trouble to cast and set up something with this short a life

@rteetz knows more on this; hopefully he'll drop in. That was a lot of theming put in place for such a short stint

My guess is he wasn't as popular as they hoped. I haven't heard much else other than today is his last day. Universal has no say in Dr. strange, Disney is free to use him.

I knew Disney wouldn't dare put him in place without knowing he was ok. I guess there was some question on the newspaper stand as it mentions some items found in Universal. But that's such a minor thing and again, I'd have to think Disney would due their due diligence but then again.....
I'm just not sure how they could be disappointed with his popularity when they did nothing to advertise or even mark clearly that he was there. I was actually pretty surprised on Thanksgiving Day. He had a good sized crowd form. Of people actually coming back there just to look for him and his show. Though most had to ask where it was. I knew and it took us a few seconds to find it.

Other than the first couple shows I hadn't heard anything more about it. It's still possible he comes back but it's uncertain right now. Maybe guest feedback wasn't great either? I'm not sure I don't have many details.

It was pretty slow and boring to watch. No one asked for feedback but if I'd given any I'd suggest they tweak the selection process someway.

I'd have liked to have seen him. Maybe they will tweak the show some or just make it a regular meet & greet.

Bummer! Well just miss him; our DHS day was Dec 5th. I was hoping he'd stick around... My son is obsessed with all things Marvel and it would've been nice to see him.
Thank you so much for the update. In the midst of packing and getting everything ready, I may have missed that he was gone if not for this reply.
Many thanks.

I happened to be there on his last day (Dec. 2nd) and wanted to share my story, because I was so happy beyond words. I also sent this to Disney so they could pass my thanks on to the CP playing the good Doctor, because he went above and beyond.

I am a 27-year-old young woman, too old to participate in his show, but I have Asperger's Syndrome, which has a few effects relevant to this story. I obsess over various things, and I don't handle disappointment well. Lately, I've been obsessed with Doctor Strange--the movie, the comics, everything. When I found out the good Doctor was appearing at Hollywood Studios, I was ecstatic. All I wanted from this trip was a picture with him. But then I heard he only took pictures with the kids who were selected to participate in the show, and my heart sank. Nevertheless, I came to the show on our first day at HS (Nov. 28), and loved it!! It was a fantastic display and I consider it one of my favorite parts of the trip. Anyway, the show ended and the good Doctor announced that he had to return to the Sanctum Sanctorum. I was disappointed, but prepared. Still, due to the aforementioned inability to deal well with disappointment, I was embarrassingly close to tears (I was already not having the best of days, but that's another story). But then, as he walked away, I was walking vaguely in the same direction since my friends (who didn't care much about the show but were humoring me) were waiting on a bench by the exit to backstage. He noticed me, and without my asking or prompting in any way, stopped and asked if I would like a picture. My friend hurried over and snapped a picture for us. This simple interaction, that took maybe 30 seconds, made my entire trip. Then, on the 2nd, I found out it was the last day he would be appearing, and came to the show again. This time, I don't know if it was because it was his last day, or because he saw how many people wanted pictures with him, but he stayed out and took pictures with everyone who wanted them, and I patiently waited and took a second photo with him. But that Tuesday, when he stopped for a photo with a sad girl who was too shy to even ask, made not just my day, but was the highest of high points on the entire trip.

I know, I'm pathetic, but that really did make my entire trip worth it.

Thanks for sharing your story. Love that it was a highlight for you
You had the same friend we did. He was quite good

I don't think it's pathetic at all. It's part of Disney's magic. We recently just came off a DCL cruise. There was a Captain's reception for Gold and Platinum members that we attended. Minnie came in so that people could have their pictures taken. My friends and I went up, all got hugs from her and photos. None of us is under 50. I don't think that there were more than a handful of people under 18 in that line. I'm not calling them children because at that point, we were all children at heart. The reception doesn't typically attract many kids because they probably find it a bit dull. They are perfectly well aware of that but still bring in characters for photos. During the cruise we also had our pictures taken with Goofy and others and characters will often come into the adults-only sections to interact and take pictures. I have a great picture of DH and I in the adults-only cafe area on our Med cruise with Mickey and Minnie in traditional Italian outfits. We even once had a long chat with Alice about the white rabbit after she approached us at our table shortly after dinner.
