t-minus 2 weeks and we are on the Dr. Pepper Hunt again. But, I know this time, there are going to be lots o' Texas folks in the world for the Podcast Cruise.

Does anyone know if there is DP at the Swan/Dolphin or on "The Wonder?"

The distribution rules get stranger.

Here in Sarasota, some people have tried to get the kind that comes in the original glass bottles. But, that's not possible, because Coke has a deal with Publix and all the other grocery stores

As far as the Swan Dolphin Q, I wish I could answer it. I don't *think* it's available there, but frankly I'm not sure. You could always call the front desk and ask, I suppose.

I would love to have a Diet Dr. Pepper option in WDW, but I know that ain't happening. I did combine a mixture of Mr. Pibb and Diet Coke from the Mara fountain. It wasn't bad.

I also came to the conclusion that I should have been from Texas rather than Illinois, apparently.

Dr Pepper was discovered by a Pharmacist.

Since I am a pharmacist and love DP...my brother took me to the small bottling facility and museum in Dublin, Tx....a bit West of Waco. The taste IS different. And the antique bottling machine was fascinating.

Actually, Coke was invented by a pharmacist as well. Time to plan a trip to Atlanta?

Now that Dublin has lost its license to sell Dr. Pepper. Is there a source for Dr. Pepper with cane sugar? I thought I saw a press release that said the Snapple was going to produce it through another source.

There is! They sell it at most HEB locations in Texas.

I prefer to buy mine in the Hill Country of Central Texas. There are several smaller bottlers in the Hill Country that still make it with the Dublin Formula.
Dublin was just the most famous of the smaller bottlers.

And, Dr Pepper is sold in London at the W.H. Smith locations. I was surprised to find Dr Pepper at all in Europe. And almost every Soft Drink uses Sugar instead of HFCS in Europe.

There is only coca-cola products there but I do believe they have Mr. Pibb which is very similar.

I'm also a big Dr Pepper fan (have found it in Tahiti, Tokyo and, as mentioned above, the UK), but I have plenty here in NYC, so I indulge in Mr. Pibb when I'm at Disney World. When I take a Disney cruise (well, just the three, so far), I walk over to a Hess station and buy a 20-ounce bottle for each day of the cruise. In Disney World, I keep my eye out for the vending machines that carry it, but I've also gotten it in the AAFES store at Shades of Green.
