Dr. Doom Fear Fall Video

has anyone taken a video of dr. doom
i already have the roller coaster the mummy and everything else i want besides dr. doom
i love dr. doom's fear fall but to wait for it sometimes is a waste because it seems really short sometimes
anyway just wondered

i also would like a video of things like ripsaw falls, popeye, maybe things in seuss land and at unviersal earthquake, jimmy neutron, shrek 4-d, and E.T.
i dont like half of those rides but i would still like to have a video to show my friends and family before a trip
i am known for always given detailed description of universals rides but to show a video would be much better
anyway if anyone could help

Hi!

Have you checked out the videos on USF.com? There's a separate online video for almost every ride. I think they're pretty cool. Go to USF.com, click on either "Islands of Adventure" or "Universal Studios" (located at the top lefthand portion of the page. If you click on Islands, you'll be brought to another page where you'll see "Marvel Super Hero Island" listed on the lefthand side, along with the other islands. Click on Marvel and a list of the rides will be shown. Click on Doctor Doom's Fearfall, scroll down a little and you'll see a link to the video on the right. Pretty fun.

i know i wont get things like popeye or ripsaw because of the water

I've only seen an onride video on a coaster show, and it wasn't much. They cut back and forth between the person and the ground.

I haven't even tried filming an onride video because there is a camera watching the people. The only way to do it would be to have the camera off to the side, and then bring it out just as the ride rises up before blast off.

What you ride Dr Doom and you are blasted up, does your bottom actually leave the seat? On the video on the IoA website it suspiciously looks like this does happen.

Is this ride like the Tower of Terror?

It's the opposite of Tower. It shoots up instead of falling. Yes, when you get to the top of the tower, your shoulders are against the restraints and depending on how tall you are, you leave your seat.

Yeah you do pop out of the seat at the top of the tower, but it isn't too intense. You should still go on it.

I told my youngest son (14) in the hope that he would say he didn't fancy it, so I could then say well we will go and do something else but, unfortunately, he does fancy it so it looks like I will have to go on it. You know he didn't fancy it at all when he was 9, what a difference a few years make and bang goes my excuse for having to look after him whilst DH and eldest DS go on the ride.

I was scared to go on it for the longest time. It really isn't that big a deal. I love the feeling right at the top!!! Airtime heaven.

I know when I was 9 I was freaked out by that ride, but now(i'm 14) it isn't bad. I actually love it. IT is just too short. I mean the first launch is the best part. Then its like uhhhhh ok what now
