DQ on same day as Cirque?

Hi all,

We have tickets for a Friday night show of Cirque in July. (Early show - 6:00 pm) Our children really want to try DQ this visit and since they are near each other planning it for the same day would be convenient. I've read Fridays are a busy day at DQ though. Also, if we get there at opening would we run out of things to do before cirque seating? Thanks for your help!

I'm not sure if DQ opens at 10am or 11am. I have read conflicting times on different sites. Anyway, depending on the age of your children, it is very possible to get there at opening, when it is less crowded, and stay all day. My DS (almost 15) can spend hours there, but it's not my kind of thing. There are a lot of floors and a lot to do. You would have to break and eat at some point so this would take some time. Again, depending on their ages, it is very possible (probably likely) that they can find enough to do to keep you there until your show. Whether you will still be sane after all those hours is another matter......LOL...

My sanity will definitely be in question! My DS will be in heaven I'm sure but my DD may lose interest after a while. There will be several adults in our party so I can always take her to a few shops while the others stay at DQ. I think we will plan on being there close to opening so we can hit the major attractions and then take it from there. With the July heat, I thought it would be a good way to stay somewhat cool before heading into Cirque. A CM recommended eating at Planet Hollywood and that will take some time during the late afternoon. If everyone is enjoying themselves we can always just eat at DQ. Thanks very much!
