What days and times are the best for DQ, in July? I'm guessing that weekend are busy with locals? Is there anything for 6yr DD? How much time should I plan for to spend there? Have 15,12 and 9yr DS and 14,6yr DD.

THANKS.

does DD 6 like video games? if not, you'll be spending a lot of time in lines for the few virtual attractions for families, then discover yourself in the "arcade" which eats even more money playing games you'd find at any chuck e. cheese. The other smaller "girl child" friendly option is a create zone, where you also spend money to build your own toy etc.

Now if she likes pinball and motorcycle riding video games then she'll be happy, and it won't cost you more than you spend you to get in.

Last time my DS 14 and I went (I play Galaga for hours in the classics zone) and DH took DD to the movies next door. MUCH cheaper.

If possible I would go early in the week and be there right when they open. I still find it hard to find my way around there to the stuff for a 6 year old. Last year we went with my niece at that time 7, the only thing she liked was Buzz Lightyear, over and over again. The lines for all the Virtual Reality Rides line up really quick. It's well worth it for the other kids. Maybe someone is more of a DQ expert and could tell you which floor to hit first for the ones that get crowded the first for your 6 year old.

So.... some games cost and some games don't? How does that work?
:listen:
:confused3 I have the same question. It already costs quite a bit to get in.

Thanks for the feedback.

1. games cost? I thought that it was included in the pricing adm cost
2. no, she's not a big one on video games at home, however she does like the chuck e cheese type of games and attactions
3. what is the creative zone? build a toy? how much is that and is it 'timed' or until a toy is built?

THANKS! again...I always appreciate those taking time to answer my inquiries. :flower:

Here's the list of the zones in this faq from allearsnet
http://allearsnet.com/btp/dqfaq.htm

The replay zone is where the skeeball games and the like are. You have to pay for all of those, then get tickets for scores, which trade for cheesy crap at the redemption counter. The cost of a game is in the 50 cent range, and to my thinking it's just unconscionable to have to pay MORE in DQ to play the only games little ones want to play.

The create zone is where you pay to make toys, etc. Not much there, and last time I was there the few free attractions, like face morphing, were mostly out of order.
