DP: How early in advance to book?

How early in advance can you book a DP? We are booking through Disney Catering or Event Planning, NOT through DFTW.....I'm guessing it's a similar window though?

When I did it, the pricing couldn't be guaranteed until 6 months out, and you can't sign the contract til 90 days out, but they will get the ball rolling for you much sooner. I say if you're within a year of the event, it doesn't hurt to call.
