DP diners dining with non DP diners

For the most part I will be solo on my trip. I am considering the dining plan since I am meeting folks for dinner at Chef Mickey's one night and the second night my chosen park closes at 7 and I am leaning towards not hopping to a second park. In that case, I might as well go to Boma! So, suddenly DP makes sense for me.

My question. Since I will be DP, and the other diners in my party at Chef Mickey's will not be, can I still use my TS credit?

Sure - it's not different then you paying with a separate credit card then someone else. Just tell the server up front that you are using the DP.
