DP Credits and OOP?

Is it possible to pay for a meal with some credits and some cash?

Here is our situation: we are having a "Parent's Night Out" and will be using some adult TS credits one evening, but not the Child TS credits. Later in the week we will be eating at a TS but be out of Adult credits but still have 2 Child credits. Can we order for the family, but "pay" for the kids' dinner with the credits and then pay cash for ours?

Seems like a simple enough question with what I think is an obvious answer, but with Disney you just never know!

Yes you can.

And you should look at maximizing the credits to pay OOP for the cheapest meals. One I learned on here was to generally always pay OOP for most character breakfasts for adults but to use a TS credit for the children as character breakfasts (and any buffet for that matter it seems) is waaay more than regular TS from a kids' menu. Whereas it seems that a meal for adults at a regular TS is generally much more than a buffet for an adult.
