Downtown Disney

Sorry if this is a dumb question - do you need a park ticket to visit Downtown Disney? We'll be spending some time with relatives who live about 45 min. away from Disneyland, and I though it might be nice if we all went to dinner at one of the restaurants at Downtown Disney. We'll have our park tix, but they won't (they're not "into" amusement parks). Can outsiders visit Downtown Disney??

Downtown Disney does not require admission. It has free parking for up to 3 hours, with an additional 2 hours if you have your ticket validated at either the AMC Movie theatre or one of the sit down restaurant.

Does Rainforest Cafe take reservations?

Yes it does. You Call the disney dinning number listed on disneyland.com for reservations for most of the DTD restaurants.
