Downtown Disney

Hi all,

Have visited the world 4 times now with my family in 06, 07, 2010 & 2013 and seem to remember up until 2013 there were late bars and night clubs in downtown disney? Is this still the case?

I plan to visit for 3 weeks from the UK with my girlfriend next summer and would love a few late nights out whilst we get tipsy! Am I right in saying most clubs and bars in the downtown disney area no longer exist or did I imagine it all and they still do?

They got rid of pleasure island a few years ago because Disney wanted a family friendly vibe.

There's still plenty of bars and stuff to do late at night. Disney Springs closes at midnight though

All the clubs have gone but there are several new bars and restaurants such as The Boathouse and Jock's Hanger Bar. STK will also open soon and then The Edison much later this year. I think some places are open to 1am, but as there are no clubs there is nothing really late night anymore.

I would check out the Disney Springs (new name for Downtown Disney) website. It's got details on hours, bars, clubs, etc. https://www.disneysprings.com/ Look at it now, but also check back at the start of June. They are about to open a whole new section in three weeks, so there'll be a whole lot more to pick from then.
