Downtown Disney

Hiya,

This is my 3rd time to Florida but my first time to DTD. I just have a few questions

Can anyone please tell me what time Downtown Disney closes in feb?

Also, is it best to go in the evening or during the day?

If we did go in the evening will we need to make reservations to eat? Were not really into ADR's as we stay off site and usually eat in places like Golden Corral etc.

Hi there i am sure it closes around 10pm. During the day is great - - good for shopping = but shops are also open in the evening. it is nice on a night time as it is all lit up. if you are staying on resort you will alos get 20% of the baloon flight furing the day. we always go more than once as we like the night time with the pubs and the daytime for things like Disney Quest.

I'm sure that Marketplace is open til around 11:30pm and then West Side etc is open later...like 1am

I just looked on allears and if you scroll down it has the opening hours, as of March 2010

Marketplace is open 9:30am-11pm/11:30pm
Pleasure Island is open 10:30am-11pm
West Side is open 10:30am-11pm/Midnight

For places to eat, we love Raglan Road for a table service and Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express for counter services. Also heard really good things about House of Blues. Planet Hollywood is alright too, if thats your kind of thing

I don't think Planet Hollywood does reservations for dinner anymore (?) and we've been able to walk up to Raglan Road before. I think you'd also be able to just walk up to House of Blues too, and you could always use a restaurant.com voucher there as well

We love going to Downtown Disney in the morning, as its calmer and gets busier through the day. Saying that, we love it at night too because of the atmosphere created by the hustle bustle, entertainment and lights <3

Just on this subject is it easy to walk to West Side and get to Cirque du Soleil that way?
