Downtown Disney

Oct 26th - 9th Nov. Cant wait, staying at SSR! 9th visit

Is there anywhere specific at DTD you have in mind (e.g. Marketplace/West Side/PI and also are you thinking dining or shopping)? Reason I ask is that the Marketplace and West Side close slightly earlier than PI, they all close an hour or two later during the weekend compared to the weekdays. Also shops typically stay open about 30 to 60 minutes later than restaurants.

All of it! we are staying so close this time we want to make the most of it.

It looks like the hours are constant throughout the year. I had to check first since we have never been in slower seasons, but since it isn't inside any of the parks and has not entrance fee, it attracts a lot of locals so it looks like they don't cut the hours. Of course if anyone knows otherwise, please post. ;)

We seem to go to DTD a lot. Especially when we do DHS - we usually leave when we are hungry for a quick EoS!

I love going to DTD for an odd hour or three! I especially liked catching the boat from POR, a nice alternative to the Disney buses. And as for the Earl - Mmmm :goodvibes :goodvibes

Depends on the event, usually it closes at 11.

22 and feeling youthful!

You're very welcome. Have you spent much time there before? And how old are your children? The Lego store is great with all the outdoor play areas and when my daughter, now 8, was younger she LOVED looking at the animal "sculptures" outside Rainforest Cafe.

I love the Lego store and i'm 27! The keyrings just drag me in, so sad.
I must admit on fri and sat nights it is a bit like chaos, esp near Ghiradellis you just can't move

No need to tell me :rotfl: But if you go mid afternoon or early in the morning it is great. Don't tell anyone, but I had a go at the Lego too and had to hide my disappointment when some kiddies pitched up and I felt obliged to move so they could squeeze in (it was otherwise full). I was quite put out that I didn't get to finish building my dream house - it was the only time I have ever been able to honestly say "I am building a house in Orlando!" ;)
