DTD is the Disney shopping and eating mecca. It has many great shops and restaurants. Also Cirque Du soleil, Disney quest(giant "arcade"), and Pleasure Island( dance clubs and bars), and also a movie theater. http://willcad.org/maps/misc/wdw_dd.jpg
It is a free area that has a bunch of stores and restaurants. In the middle is Pleasure island. All of the downtown disney(DD) is free except for Pleasure Island(PI). WE often go to DD to go to the biggest Disney store in the world. There is also one of the coolest lego stores you could imagine. On the other side of Pleasure Island is The movie theater and Disney Quest, Both pay items.
