Downtown Disney to GF

I know this is more of a dining question, but these get answered much faster.

If I'm at DD, how long will it take us to get to the Grand Floridian for Cinderella's Gala Feast by 6:00 p.m. I would like to get there a little early.

To be safe (timing of bus arrivals varies) be at the DTD stop by 45 minutes to an hour before your ressies. That way you won't be late.

If you happen to have a car it might be faster to drive to Downtown Disney & back to the Grand Floridian & here is why. This just my opinion but those buses comming from the Magic Kingdom Resort area take forever so if you just miss the bus going back to the GF it could be a while until the next one arrives. Also the GF is the last stop on your way back because the DTD bus 1st drops guests off at the Contemporary & the 2nd stop is for guests at the Polynesian.

If you are driving your own car and you are really familiar with WDW property, I would leave a 1/2 hour to go from DTD to GF. If you are not that familiar, I would leave yourself like 45 minutes in case you get twisted around on the streets.
