Downtown Disney Restaurants

What's your favorite Downtown Disney Restaurant? Do you go every trip, what do you order?

Catal/Uva Bar: Lamb Burger. TO DIE FOR. and their signature bloody marys.
Jazz Kitchen Express for Beignets.

That's really it. I don't wander through Downtown Disney for food otherwise.

My 9 year old son just loved ESPN. We all had fun playing upstairs (and having a beverage) while we waited for a table. I had fish tacos which were tasty.
We also enjoyed a sunny outdoor lunch at Naples (great pizza!)
And we had a delicious meal at UVA one night. DH liked his UVA burger and the guacamole was great. I loved the tuna tacos. We enjoyed that for location and people watching as well.

We've tried ESPN ZONE, which was really fun! I think they serve the best margarita ever!!!! Burgers were good, too. Have also done RAINFOREST CAFE, which we all really enjoyed--especially fun for kids. I'm not a food snob, so I just enjoy eating out. Can't even remember what I ordered there, but the menu was huge--lots of choices!!!

Tortilla Joes. The customer service is great there! The balloon animals for the kids is a nice touch too.

I like the flautas.

I found most of the DTD restaurants to be too pricey -- we opted to save that money for eating in DL. Went with Earl of Sandwich.

Jazz Kitchen, especially for lunch. We also like the UVA Bar.

My family makes a point of going to Brennan's Jazz Kitchen for Sunday brunch on most of our trips. I really like the Bourbon Street Sampler (appetizer plate) and the Shrimp and Grits entree. Everything is very good, plus there is live jazz music during brunch.

Tortilla Joe's Taqueria
Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen Express

We're usually in a hurry to eat, so that's why we favor something we can grab quickly(relatively) and go.

Also, the above are all pretty reasonably priced!

That Uva Bar lamb burger is on my must try list. We like:
Rainforest Cafe for apps, burgers, and drinks Napollini for their take out pizza
Uva bars garlic fries
We're mixed on Jazz Kitchen
Naples for pizza
We did not like Tortilla Joes at all
ESPN Zone for very casual wings, apps, drinks Earl of Sandwich: fast and cheap and good

We always go to Tortilla Jo's and tableside Guacamole! We will be there on Sunday!

We always end our Disney vacations with Earl of Sandwich.

We ate at Earl of Sandwich and Rainforest Cafe our last trip. Of the 2, EOS was the favorite for DH & myself, and Rainforest Cafe was our boys' favorite. We signed up for the birthday club at both places, so DH had a free sandwich at EOS, and we had a $25 credit at Rainforest Cafe, since we were there during his birthday month.

DH & I both had the Hawaiian BBQ at EOS, both boys had grilled cheese.
At Rainforest Cafe, I had nachos (it was a huge portion, much too big to finish), DH had a burger, and both boys had chicken nuggets.

Jazz Kitchen Express for the beignets and we also like getting a bag of Caramel Flavored Kettle Corn from the popcorn cart closest to the Monorail Station.

I love Earl of Sandwich! I had their turkey sandwich and it was excellent. Also had their cesar salad and it was good too. I also like Jazz Kitchen for their shrimp platter. I got a decent amt of shrimp, and had the Jalapeno Bacon Potato salad. While the potato salad portion was small, it was some of the best potato I've ever had, so well worth it. For snacks, Wetzels Pretzels is good for pretzels if you are not in the mood for a big meal.
