Downtown Disney Restaurant Questions

Hi Can anyone tell me where I can use my Disney Visa Reward points in Downtown Disney for Restaurants?

We would like to go to Wolfgang Pucks but not sure if they take our Visa Reward points.

Also, can you charge your meals at all the Restraurants in Downtown Disney to your room key?

I am fairly new to the Disney Visa, but I believe the web site has a listing of all places that accept the rewards. As for the DTD restaurants, I'm going by memory, but I believe you can charge to your room key. Or at least the ones that participate in the dining plan.

I don't usually charge to my room as I use different cards depending if anyone is having a special cash back promotion! (tip - plan your trip around extra 5% back at restaurants!)

What is this you are talking about? I always like to save money!!

You can charge it to you room and at the end of the stay you can use your rewards to pay your bill.

We have done that at the Rainforest Cafe, Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express.

What is this you are talking about? I always like to save money!!

My Discover Card offers 5% back on different categories each quarter. It seems the last quarter includes restaurants. I always have to call and have them re-categorize any Disney owned restaurants and there is a cap - but it is a little extra cash back bonus. I know some other credit cards also vary the amounts of their rewards.

So a restaurant that does not take DDP, such as Rain Forest Cafe, we can bill to our room, then pay off with our Disney Visa Rewards card?

I have never cashed in points, but we plan on going next August for a week, and plan on having some points by then.

Yes you can and on your reciept at the Rainforest Cafe it will say if your charging this to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you need to fill in the tip and what the total amount would be.
