Downtown Disney Restaraunts...

We will be arriving on Dec 15th and not visiting the parks on that day. It is my bday and we want to go out for a nice dinner-just dh, dd, and I. We have eaten at Napa Rose several times and love it, but I would kind of like to try something new this time. Any suggestions? Anyone eaten at Catal? Jazz Kitchen? What restaraunt should I pick for my bday dinner?

You share your birthday with my oldest son! The Jazz Kitchen has wonderful atmosphere, nice food, and pleasant service. I would recommend it.

The Jazz Kitchen is quite scrumptious. They also have a Jazz Kitchen Express (left side of the Jazz Kitchen) where you could order snacks. I tried their beignets once and it was delicious!

My friends and I recently tried the Rainforest Cafe. The atmosphere is nice but the food and the cost just didn't seem worth it to us.

Storyteller's at the Grand Californian Hotel is delicious. They have an excellent buffet where you basically get to eat practically every course they have listed on their menu. I'm not sure what time they start the buffet but I believe it's 4:30pm or 5pm. Their corn chowder is excellent.

I've never eaten at Catal but my friend said it's very good. Also Naples has good pasta and pizza if you are in the mood for Italian.
