Downtown Disney Parking Lot Closures - Feedback?

I was just curious as we are approaching the first full week of parking lots H -K, approx. from Disney Quest - Planet Hollywood being closed, has the availability of spots been manageble or out and out chaos? Feedback?

LOL, it was out and out chaos before, I can only imagine what it is like now.

It's probably too soon to tell. The test will be Friday & Saturday nights, which is when they plan to activate the overflow lots and the shuttle.

I haven't been there at night, but there's probably parking available, it's just down by Cirque.

It's still the old find a family with Disney shopping bags and tail them to where they are parked. Now there will be six other cars tailing you!

Between the parking and the construction.. maybe it's a good time to take a break and just wait until the "new stuff" opens

Ill be going there next Friday but plan on using the Ferry from Old Key West and back again........

Ill let you know how my brother-in-law makes out when he tries to park.

Now that the first full weekend is in the books what is the verdict? Long shuttle line waits or mildly inconvenient parking spot hunting?

We parked a car at 11:30 am on the 9th with absolutely NO problems. Easiest its been in years.

But then again....it was 11;30 am in the morning
