downtown disney..italian restaurant

Is there an Italian restaurant in d.disney? or did there used to be one?......looking for first night meal after flight from NJ.....we already have reservations later in the week at Planet Hollywood...any suggestions...

i can't recall an italian restaurant at DD but i can recommend Raglan Road. e had a really nice meal there last year with great entertainment (dancer on tables!)

The Portobello Yacht Club is YUMMY! They had some kind of roasted garlic that was soft to be spread on bread that was out of this world! I've never had anything like that. Also, the tablecloths were REAL! And WHITE! It was so fancy! It cost more to eat there than we are used to spending, but it was well worth it. We went before we had kids. We won't go there with them until they are older (1 and 2 now). Your kids are old enough that they should be fine.

Are you thinking about a little fast food Italian restaurant that used to be in the marketplace area?
I think it was called Minnie Mia's or something like that. Sadly, it's no longer there. They had the BEST BEST spaghetti found anywhere on property, IMHO. The place was teensy tiny though so I imagine that's why they closed it.....

I was just going to post this! I remember this, we ate here on our first visit back in 1995, I agree the spaghetti was great!! Pizza was not to bad either!
